I believe @ikanbilis meant TNG+, GX Bank Berhad is definitely PIDM's member bank under "Licensed digital banks"

Nope. Today is the first time I download their app. Signed up today and immediately transfer RM100 and received RM20 bonus.

I think only those who are selected can see the GX logo on the bottom left of their Grab app.

I also saw that logo & clicked on it & was instructed to download the GX app & I could right away create myself an account, deposit the RM100 & get RM20 instantaneously.

I can register, but I did not manage to link with Grab account yet. Maybe after next Grab app update. Also there's FAQ on applying for physical/virtual card on the GX App, but that feature is not yet in the app.

Tried their transfer and receive function, works flawlessly!

Got their First RM100 deposit (RM20) and DuitNow registration (RM8) reward.

P/S: First RM100 deposit only works with the deposit/FPX function, not applicable for transfers from DuitNow to your GX account directly.

Deposited RM100.. got RM20.

Activated duitnow right away.. RM8.

RM100 becomes RM128. The whole app experience from opening account until doing all those was flawless on my phone. Better than major bank apps. But I have not test for banking purpose, that will need time to know.

1. Daily transfer out limit.
2. Is the transfer out to other bank account immediate/instant? Any waiting period? I'm assuming it's duit now so the transfer should be instant?

Strange thing is that I did not get any email to be beta tester but I was able to create an account instantly. I did sign up for beta tester but didn't get any official email for creating an account.

manual verification? apparently usually there's some AI that detect the percentage of similarity of ur face with ur IC, below which will be rejected.
