the onfido ekyc function doesnt work well with xiaomi phone/camera?

photo capture got this banding/dark mesh spotting all around. kept failing 3 times now.

yeah, i changed to an older xiaomi phone. image capture correctly.

and just GX account now approved


tips when changing phone: on the old phone, disable biometric login + remove/unbind device first. then only switch to new phone.

yeap, each time took few minutes to let the system auto-approve/reject.

if your account pending ekyc verification, probably it's been routed to manual verifiation (by ekyc officer) for detailed checking (could be sampling or some issues)

currently under pilot testing. and pending bnm approval to open card application.

gxbank didn't get/wait for full approval to do big bang launch. at least start small first with SA and app.

also good strategy to monitor health status of all their systems, operations, etc running stable.

once card open, expect other issues to come.
