I can register, but I did not manage to link with Grab account yet. Maybe after next Grab app update. Also there's FAQ on applying for physical/virtual card on the GX App, but that feature is not yet in the app.

No necessary requirements to have Grab. You'd just miss out on getting rewards and stuff, but you still get the bank's 3% current acct rate

After few weeks using it, here's my verdict. If you're looking for highest interest rate with basic current account feature and easiness to withdraw, TnG is a better option.

In terms of banking feature also, there's nothing really to brag about aside from maybe two things. First, GXSecure i.e. no SMS OTP which some banks still don't have this. Second, the Pockets feature where you can easily segregate money based on function/goals and still earn same interest rate as normal accounts.

That being said, I can see myself using it in the future especially for the Pockets feature, which previously I need to use Excel to keep track. Yes, it's not the highest interest rate but I don't have 5 digits savings so I don't think the difference is significant. But this is just one digital bank, we'll see what other 4 can offer.

It's just an announcement on the perks. Don't really care about 1% Cashback but some who only use debit card might like it. No ATM MEPS fee, no international transaction markup fee, and no international ATM fee are promising. Quite similar to SC Jump, with no conditions attached. BUT then they said the fees are waivable until end of 2024. maybe it's just legalese and extend the waivers forever, who knows...

I still can't find the card section anywhere in the latest version of the app. Maybe they will roll out the same time as it opens the application to all.
