What's the shape of your head especially the crown area?

Mine is quite round, have no issues with hjc is17 and rpha70.

I would say mine's oval? or intermediate oval? there's no review mentioning the shape for lazer helmet so i can't compare with that. Purchased it after knowing my head size

one of the best ventilated helmet with a chin bar that i've ever tried. seem to be even better ventilated than my arai tx4 which is known for being one of the best ventilated adventure helmet in the market.

it's modular and that chin bar can be removed, but it's really low that it doesn't bother your sight.
that chin bar is really study and tested for impact.

costs RM900 and you can try it out at durian biker JB and puchong.
they don't care if you wanna buy or not, you can try without discrimination.
bring your own balaclava, skull cap or head cover for better feel.

But anyway I ended up buying rpha70 at nsk.

I have my aux lights on all the time. Even through roadblocks. Haven't been stopped for them before.

But I have not got excessively big and bright ones and have aimed them well. Those big GS with multiple fog lights mounted so high another story lah.

I rather pay Saman then someone not seeing me.

best bang for buck goretex, high cut is probably sidi adventure 2.
they're sold quite cheap in malaysia.

went to try them out at chear motor when i was looking.
try and PM that seller in shopee, i think she's a salesgirl from chear. look like they have a couple of sizes in stock.

do note that the black ones are made from microfibre. sole reason why i skipped after trying them out.

yeah this one the hi cut is a lil too tall.....



currently eyeing Falco Liberty 3 and forma arbo. these are about 11inches from sole to top with similar fastening (zip + velcro). but just wondering if there are other gore tex options within budget.

mid cut boots like the falco land 3 are a lil too short for my liking




also thinking of selling my rs taichi riding pants and looking into a pair of gore tex pants too.

That Sidi adventure is really way too high for street riding IMO. I see the safety aspects but too uncomfortable to walk around with it. I got the Sidi Dune instead. Chear motor HQ got it in stock, can try and buy there.

Personal observation I think boots with zipper or the quick strap system such as Sidi techno 3 is safer and easier to use than normal laces. Sadly the Sidi Dune was the old lace version. Spend more time putting it on and to ensure it is secured properly with the Velcro strap.

Anyone know if there is any tailor that can do some alteration on jacket?

Normal denim jacket won't do anything when you slide on tarmac.

best place i can think of is pertama complex... quite a few tailors there. some can even make a whole race suit for u.

Unless it's an original one, maybe better just buy another one that fits.
