Then he should know the importance of agtatt.

he was lucky that he didnt fracture his shoulder.
even with these open wounds, it's painful.  the pain will be there for at least 2 weeks, especially during mandi time.

The way he rolled reminds me of Jason Statham.

This is why I'm always ATGATT.
Whether it is just a short ride, or a long ride or ride to office.  I'm ATGATT.
I rather sweat, than bleed and having road rash like him.
He could had avoided getting these road rashes and open wound if only he was wearing his safety jacket and gloves

@7:18 onwards

By the way.  This amoi in the vlog very hggghn.

That guy takes riding for granted...can get accident even 100 meters from home. Gloves are a must. He was fortunate and I hope he learns from his mistake and changes his thinking and attitude towards safety gear

That's right
I still wear my safety gears even when I go out tapau food

Accident can even happen in front of your house or in your taman.

I remember this guy made fun of me when he saw me. Telling me no need to wear gears. Short distance only, no accident.
I then ask him since you can predict, so when and where are you going to get into a traffic accident,?
Diam2 after that.

I want to say padan muka, but, don't wish for anybody to get into accident. Gloves are really easy to put on, so is the jacket. Riding boots ok ok.

For me, I think helmet paling mafan cause need to put on my ear plugs, bandana then finally helmet.

Well it takes only a few minutes to put in the gears

Where as even this type of injuries , he will feel pain for at least 2 weeks. Not including the recovery time.
Imagine what a rider will go through for far more severe injuries than this.

So a few minutes spent on putting in the gears is worth it.

No shit. Once I went over doing a wheelie.

Stung for 2 weeks. And that was like a 30kmh crash. Early riding life experience for how not be an idiot and gear up.

It's so easy to loose your front even if you got working ABS. Sand, oil, moss will do that for you...although I've mostly gotten the rear out of shape before the front lets go...which is even scarier, since you could end up with a highside.

The trauma and Orthopedic ward at Govt Hospital is a nightmare, about 80% of the occupants came from Motorcycle accidents.

Please suit up..

If your accidents puts you in ortho ward, i highly doubt any gear is protective enough.
Scrapes and bruises can la.
If till bones broken, thats already high impact. Only smart riding can aoid that.

Well most injuries are forearms and lower leg injuries. Even a small crash will do it to you if you don't have at least some sort of protective wear.

I once mildly fractured my wrist after I endo when my bicycle getting caught in a rut. When you fall off something like a bike, you instinctively reach out to catch the fall.

I'm sure everyone would have at least heard of someone breaking thier leg when they fell off the titi during testing. If that crash bar lands on your lower leg, GG.

If you have extra money, I would suggest that you get yourself a riding glove that has 'bridge' between pinkie and your ring fingers. Meaning both fingers are connected by a piece of leather/fabric to minimise the risk of broken pinkie.

Actually, close to home taman type of ride is far more dangerous than speeding on a highway than many people tend to realize.

It is a well known fact that often people let thier guard down near to home. They loose concentration, make the usual turns without checking, or tired after a days work.

I know for a fact that all of my bumps and scrapes are done when driving low speed, distracted by kids and mental distraction of all sorts. Wife often states the stark difference of how I can do laps and laps of high speed precision driving and drifting on track without incident even getting all crossed up but yet still somehow bump into my own gate when parking at my own house........

If you somehow end up meeting a distracted driver like that, it's not going to bode well for you on a bike...even if you aren't going that fast.

Went to NAPS Adachi today

Juling mata man....saw some forgot what brand goretex gloves which was quite cheap...less than 500...but its too thick to be used in our weather

Left with rs taichi pants..a-star gauntlet n rs taichi shorties glove...balaclava and some original kawasaki keychains. Was aiming for boots but had nothing i wanted.

Total spent 2.1k...if u ever go to these shops in japan..bring ur passport so u can get tax free...saved me rm200 of taxes

Was very tempted to buy a full cf helmet for 1.6k... wins a-force rs....but no ece cert n also my luggage no space 😭

Also saw a filipino buy n custom fit a shoei...me jelly coz he can buy n bring back hahahah

The one that fits your head the best.
Some people can either fit Shoei, or Arai. Some both cannot.

Some dislike Arai visor no clicking, and the chin bar is too close.
Shoei looks best.

Get the one you can put on consistently. If can, get full one with shin plate of course.

all 3 can put on consistently, tried, not that difficult, but just looking from the practicality POV

like i sometimes ride from work back to fiancee place, if i wear boots then need to go up her condo and change slipper if we go out for dinner, like i wouldnt want to be wearing the boots for dinner

same goes to riding to office, atleast the generic ones wont be obvious since they look like normal sneakers
