Anyone know if money is already inside KDI Save , will we get interest over the weekends?

I know if money is pending transfer no interest. So I am curious about money already inside KDI save.

Deposit or withdrawal cut off is working day 11am, you will see update of interest or your withdrawal proceed by 430pm same day

If you make deposit or withdrawal on weekend or holiday, then it will follow upcoming working day

I deposited on Sat and Sun, today  can see 1 day interest paid .

My 2nd acc opened Saturday 5.30pm, only approved 12.30pm Mon
Deposited money straight away, still pending, if this also earn 1 day interest later on tonight,
that means  no point deposit on Sat or Sun,
might as well wait till Monday only deposit.

Cant believe it, KDI  deposit cut off time (for same day interest) is so early!

Deposit 8.19Am , get interest same day.
Deposit  12.37pm  no interest, u only get it next day.

Deposit on Sat and Sun no benefit, no better than do it Monday early morning.

deposit Friday afternoon is be the worst ,
no interest for Fri,Sat Sun, only get interest  come  Monday.

Would you recommend to put in KDI invest or Stashaway? I currently have 5 digits in Stashaway but the 36% risk index is disappointing, mostly due to KWEB.

Im planning to stop putting into STASHAWAY and diversity into KDI.

Stop putting into SA and only put max of 3000 to avoid and save fees

Anything extra DIY yourself buying whatever you feel c9mfortable to grow with plain and simple

I meant if you already have money inside KDI save, will it have interest on Saturday and Sunday. Not deposit on Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

Say you deposited money on Thursday a.m before 11am, so interest Thursday, Friday confirm got.

Cut-off time is 11am AFAIK.

I calculated based on my 1 day interest 0.00819875776 * 360 days = 2.9515527936 (if using 360 day rule) or 0.00819875776*365 = 2.9925465824%.

The previous number was probably me randomly rounding my daily interest to get the rough approximation, either way its like a few cents difference, I couldn't be bothered to be accurate 

Would you put 7 figure sum in it? I know you will easily reach 6 figures soon. If capital is pretty much secure, I would dare to put much more but had not so good experience with Opus money market fund last time (can't remember exactly but something like what I withdrew was less than what I deposited for my last round)  plus recently mum showed the AmanahSyariah Cash Mgt Fund which plunged because of Serba Dinamik.

i just did a test withdrawal from KDI Save this morning at around 10am. Now it's been completed. that's very speedy! 

As for the withdrawl from SAMY Simple, which I requested since Monday morning, is still sitting in the account now, waiting to be executed 

Where can get normal FD rate at 2.25% ??    I also want!

Confirm no where can get better than KDI Save, 3%pa compound daily, same working day withdrawal, safe MM instrument...If you got better, let me know ya, hahahaha

I won't recommend KDI or stashaway. Why pay people for doing something that you yourself can do?

If it's me, I would just buy qqq + soxx every month. That's more than enough for me.
I don't think both stashaway and kdi can outperform the QQQ. It's cheaper and get better returns over long time  to DIY Vs paying middle man to do something that you self yourself can do.

Money invested already is expected to earn daily interest, so yes we should get interest daily now onwards including PH.

I saw that all of them have daily compound interest, only difference is the time it takes to reflect in account and the withdrawal time.

IMHO the KDI guaranteed rate 3% vs Simple's non-guaranteed rate 2.4$ is already convincing enough?

Simple slow as s*it. Not even recommended. Avoid
Versa rates are lower than KDI save.
KDI have faster deposit and withdrawal speed and higher interest Vs versa.

Correction. It's for 9 months. Promo rate valid until 31st December 2022

If your amount is small, it's insignificant. If amount say rm100k, big difference.

Up to you. People giving you free money, up to you want to take or not. For me I already transfer everything I have with Versa over to KDI save even though I have amount less than rm10k.
