Yes very very fast. if you withdrawl from KDI Save before the cut off date, you will get your money on the same day.

On Simple, I am still waiting for my money despite having the instruction carried out on Monday morning before 11am.
*
aik? not T+1 (withdraw before cutoff)?

if same day, roughly what time received fund in your bank?

I deposited on Sat and Sun, today  can see 1 day interest paid .

My 2nd acc opened Saturday 5.30pm, only approved 12.30pm Mon
Deposited money straight away, still pending, if this also earn 1 day interest later on tonight,
that means  no point deposit on Sat or Sun,
might as well wait till Monday only deposit.

*
QUOTE(guy3288 @ Feb 22 2022, 09:18 PM)
Cant believe it, KDI  deposit cut off time (for same day interest) is so early!

Deposit 8.19Am , get interest same day.
Deposit  12.37pm  no interest, u only get it next day.

Deposit on Sat and Sun no benefit, no better than do it Monday early morning.

deposit Friday afternoon is be the worst ,
no interest for Fri,Sat Sun, only get interest  come  Monday.

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Feb 26 2022, 02:41 PM)
Anyone know if money is already inside KDI Save , will we get interest over the weekends?

I know if money is pending transfer no interest. So I am curious about money already inside KDI save.
*

I meant if you already have money inside KDI save, will it have interest on Saturday and Sunday. Not deposit on Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

Say you deposited money on Thursday a.m before 11am, so interest Thursday, Friday confirm got.
Saturday, Sunday?

perhaps i misread your question biggrin.gif

i havent reached my weekend aging. bare few days old laugh.gif

would there be any tangible difference(s) if I am to deposit $$ now (to KDI Save) or just wait till tomorrow morning (before 11am cutoff)?

Deposit or withdrawal cut off is working day 11am, you will see update of same day interest or your withdrawal proceed by 430pm same day

If you make deposit or withdrawal on weekend or holiday, then it will follow upcoming working day
*
yes i'm aware of this

that means depositing now (1pm++) vs tomorrow morning (before 11am), has no difference.

Hand itchy and found something interesting....

Yesterday did a additional deposit of 20k into KDI Save, and I selected my cc as payment, the transaction rejected after keyin OTP

Just now found that there's extra 20k in my personal bank savings account registered with KDI, stated refund from PACIFIC TRUSTEES BERHAD
*
yep, their FPX registration with PayNEt didnt disable "credit card", which is why it was shown. sweat.gif

they are "working" on it to disable it.

QUOTE(gooroojee @ Mar 4 2022, 05:20 PM)
Shouldn't they refund to your card...
*
nope, they cant refund back to card. it seems easier to just refund to the registered savings account with KDI.

p/s: any cc that give rewards for FPX? laugh.gif laugh.gif

deposited yesterday night, reflected today around 4:36pm. Guess their works cover anything from 11am to the following day's 11am, and the system will reflect the change on account after 430pm?
*
processing cutoff is 11am ---- updates to us is usually between 4-5pm (deposit/profit/withdrawal)

for withdrawal, since they processed before 5pm transfer window (i assume using IBG), the expected fund receive is by 11pm, same day.... so far i've tested 1 time test withdrawal, fund received 1030pm+.

so, for withdrawal, dont expect to receive money early laugh.gif , especially when you need the fund fast/urgent... always plan +1 working day.

I have asked Kenangan this:
Cutoff Deposit
KDI Save - 11am
KDI Invest - 8am

Cutoff withdraw
1-2 working days

Transfer from KDI Save to KDI Invest
4-5 working days

My experience is
Deposit @21.02.2022, 3:14PM and account update @23.02.2022, 12:47AM.  (2days)
Transfer from KDI Save to KDI Invest @24.02.2022, 3:57AM, account updated @25.02.2022, 4:42PM (1day)

So, the cutoff days/time is their processing time and whether successful and update in our account is depends on their system?
*
no idea about Invest, not using it

for Save, i made it simple timing to follow/remember laugh.gif

User-activity cutoff: 11am (deposit or withdrawal)
KDI system update: ~4-5pm++
IBG fund received: before 11pm (from my twice withdrawals, somewhere 10+pm) --- if backward calculate, their IBG transfer initiated betweem 2-5pm window

not really tracking when KDI processing, but above is just my observations thumbsup.gif

didnt keep track each day's figures though hmm.gif cant compare before and after withdrawal

i'll keep monitoring and taking snapshots daily before triggering withrawal again

Seem like it make sense for lower the returns if our net deposit amount (after withdraw) is reduced.
*
that make it seems like profit is not incremental on daily basis (into Returns bucket), but dynamically-updated based on current net deposit? hmm.gif

Daily return is compound base but subject to total amount holding.

After your withdraw the holding value is decrease that make the return have slightly decrease as well.
*
shouldnt the Return amount either remain same amount (as yesterday's) or increase (if having deposit before 11am today)?

withdrawing from net deposit only caused me to earn lower profit, but not reducing my (already earned) profit as well?

dont know u refer to same testing or not,i tested and yes nice refunded cash!
try post 512, is that your problem?
If yes worry not, just check your Net Deposit column.
your "loss" is credited there
of course if total  balance reduced(after WD) , daily interest must also reduced- but must reduced ACCORDINGLY lah

the issue is the interest reduced is more than Accordingly.

Eg that day i WD RM10k, i expected interest for next day reduced by RM0.62,
but KDI reduced next day interest by RM3.54,

what happened to the RM2.92??

KDI sent it to "Nett Deposit"... doh.gif  doh.gif
funny system.
*
thanks

a bit confusing/unclear how the reduction works

will monitor next round of withdrawal

Dont worry about the calculation, i can vouch that KDi calculate  daily interest exactly as what we have expected.
it is daily compounding including your earned interest.

If your  balance yesterday was X, and today b4 11am deposited Y, and  your accumulated return Z
Today's interest would be (X+Y+Z) x3%/365
straight forward.

IINM you raised the issue as you felt KDi "claw back" some of your earned interest.
just go check your Net Deposit there, the money is there.

Mine the moment i saw  my Nett Deposit  XXXX2.92 i know that RM2.92  was not my own deposit, it must be
CR from the so called claw back interest. Go check yours.
First hand info here, it is daily compounding including earned interest
*
thanks again

yeah. I suspected some portion moved to deposit.

well. I can't verify cuz my net deposit is not round amount anyway. no way to compare unless I screencap my balance before withdrawal this morning biggrin.gif

Has anyone experienced a delay with deposits to KDI save?

In my case, I made a deposit last night and even got the confirmation email this afternoon (this is usually sent out after 4PM) that the funds have been invested.

The dashboard still hasn't been updated though and the Transactions tab also states that the funds are still 'pending'.

Hope its just a regular delay but it seems weird given that the confirmation email has been sent.
*
yep, today seems to be delayed probably in reflecting on their page.

**update 6 Apr, 7:22am, KDI page reflected now**

missed the 11am cut-off and since today is Friday, just to confirm that it will be better to transfer on Monday before 11am right?
*
strategically, before 11am Friday
practically, put before 11am next monday

if you really have no intention to use the $$ now, sure, do the deposit now also can. no harm anyway.

however, since there is no benefits for doing so, keeping the $$ in your bank now is more practical in case of emergency/adhoc use during the weekend biggrin.gif
