why u snek snek. just minum air banyak banyak, then keep urself busy. if hangry, tahan hangry. after a few round should be ok. It's like NNN, just tahan, then the urge will hilang

1. don't buy/stock
2. learn and read nutrition fact, everytime you wanna eat/buy something, read the nutrition fact, then think and think and think (more extreme way, try to think it as bad thing that enters your body for no benefits/harm your body)
3. your body will get used to no snacking after a while, hold on until then

Snack on Almonds instead of chocolate, maybe try drink more water. Temporarily stop buying chips and junk food from groceries.

Go for long walks. It's supposed to help with insulin sensitivity so that your blood sugar can be better regulated. At least it works for me.

Replace with fruits.


Rice is hard... But at one point you just start to portion it as appropriately. Just need the right motivation.

Simple sugar spikes and makes your body to produce high levels of insulin that retards the body from burning fat.

Unpolished rice are complex sugar that do not release sugar in spikes.

I went for about 30mins walk every morning/noon if no rain

It only works when I stick to my diet

Better lifestyle now to score wife later to lead to an even better lifestyle.

On a serious note, think of healthy eating as a investment into your future self.

When you eat unhealthy, not only you have to pay with your $$, but also with your health. It's a double cost.


The CRUCIAL point of healthy eating is always at the point when you are hungry and choosing what to eat / how much to eat.

It's a battle between MIND and STOMACH, which stomach usually wins.

Always when you are hungry you tend to overeat or choose unhealthy options, only to regret it later.

But do give yourself a treat once awhile in your healthy eating journey to eat something unhealthy once a while.

I am no pro in healthy eating but that's what I observed.

My experience is different from others. Carbs is my main macronutrient at 60%, protein 30%, fat 10%.

I eat 80% of required calories.
Brown rice/basmati rice and brown bread for the nutrients, fibres and carbs. White meat like chicken and eggs for protein and a bit of fats. Butter and cooking oil contribute to my fat needs. Fruits are supplements.

Do both types of workouts, strength and endurance as both are necessary.

What I am saying is regular long walks can help reduce hunger pangs, one of the reasons you feel like snacking.

During the last MCO, gyms and pools were closed so I only could jog and walk. I managed to score 10,000 steps per day and I realized I didn't need to snack at night anymore.

Maybe I need to workout harder to reduce appetite for snacking

There come times where I'll be very hungry, want to eat almost everything

And days there's 2 meal per day works for me

try to do fasting and only eat your main meal at a specific time, this will help train you and help your body to get used to not snacking.

Walk more, be more active, use less lift/escalator use more stairs, gain muscle, don't just keep do cardio non stop.
Boil egg is high in calories because of the yolk, remove it you remove more than ½ the calorie

I tried 16-8, sometimes to 24hr fasting

I dropped till 65 lowest (from 74), which my friend told me I looked weak

I started eating back normal, my weight become around 67-66, (from Aug till now) with jogging and weight lifting. Go out breakfast with friend, she told me I look like I was 74.

Ayam sakit hati, so plan to gone all out, but don't want 16-8 d as that one torture my soul, black coffee, no sugar, I feel like life's not worth living during that month

sometimes it's just boredom, and eating becomes like a habit.

i suggest don't buy any snack to keep at home. And in between, pick up an exercise.

For me, exercise is a good way to limit snacking, as you need quite an empty stomach to swim/ jog , otherwise it feels so uncomfortable.

30mins aint gonna cut it la, bang. you only burn around 150-200 calories, one cup of coffee itself is around 200 calories! Is it around 2-3km of walk?

With a weight around 72kg, you are not fat, but to cut it its gonna be tougher, so really need to look at your food micros and burning more calories.

For me - i have to stop buying the “snacks”.

Because everytime i have the urge to snack is at night/midnight, and there’s no choice but NOT to eat, because the shops are closed anyway.

Else, i also cannot tahan eat chips or any other sweet stuff

OK, kalau 167cm, then need to reduce further, maybe 65kg or so, would be nice.

If you getting hungry often, then breaking down your meal to smaller potion every 2-3 hours would be other option as well.

I tried 16-8, sometimes to 24hr fasting

You're not too fat, maintain your food, and start strength training.

DO NOT SPAM CARDIO. You cannot out run a bad diet.

You just can't.

Just start with full body strength workout, 2-3 time a week.

Be consistent, and report your result smile.gif

Diet wise, try your best to eat 120-140 gm of protein, and remaining eat more vegetable and less fatty food.
And definitely cut out on junk snack, my tips is like all what others say, out of sight, out of mind. Junk snack is not bad, just that you can easily rack up on your calorie if you are not discipline.

I'm slightly shorter than you. I went from 72kg to 61kg by just changing eating habits.

But I also go to the gym almost everyday.

if don't really exercise, not so good oso. Have you tried HIIT workout? Can do it anywhere without equipment.

Or you could seperate your meals in smaller portions across the day. Eat before you feel hungry, stop before you're full.

Drink lots of water.

I did the ECA stack previously (ephedrine + caffeine) to suppress my hunger + burn fats lol.

Also, I tried low-carb regimen before but stopped it because I became easily irritated after doing it so I wouldn't recommend doing it.

And don't listen to people who target fat reduction in certain parts - it doesn't work.

Recommend following shuaisoserious on YT for interesting fitness/nutrition videos as well.

Not medical/fitness advice.

Last time I learnt nutrition from MMA fighter.
You are allowed to snacking, it has to be under 100 calories.

Only 100g of carb perday allowed, take it during noon.
Night time should be protein and eat before 7.
Sleep early. At least 7hours.

I was mindfck at the progress.
If you think you need a coach, go enroll into a program.

Can't imagine 100 gram of carb= 1/2 small bow of rice/day.
Night time eat what and your target daily calories vs your weight during the program? smile.gif

TS is journey of weight loss la. Not about luxury of picking what to eat. Sometimes to gain something we do need to sacrifice what we like (example fatty snacks/comfort food) in this case and opt for lighter meals alternating with work out.

The process won't make self happy since it's hard work but the results will.

There’s a few online coaches and program.
Last time I enroll into Kevin Zahri program to learn about myth and learnt from assigned dietitian/nutritionist about food.


Then I try low carbs/keto/TDEE, all the diet are the same : lower total intake calories for long run. You will see your body shed weight.

Exercise, is to boost your body strength. Foremost, to get you mentally equipped with the right knowledge. So yes, go learn with certified coaches.

The reason I went test on diets cus I ter-gain weight 6kg when I was doing weightlifting and crossfit lol. Muscle and fats sama naik🤣🤣🤣

During my program with the MMA fighter, need to eat loads of leafy greens. Strictly no fried…… of anything. No sauce. You want mayonaise? Make your own. You can fries rice? Make your own cauliflower fried rice. However, main meal size must be the size of your penumbuk only.

You want small, eat like those small pipu.
You want big, eat like a beast.

And mtfkr his training (even foundation fo MMA) makes me sweat like hell cus I need to high kick and a lot of abs burning movements. No planking tho lol
