Guys, what kind of fuel economy are you all seeing for normal day to day driving?

Please specify if it is the FS or S/Exec/Prem model

Interesting topic I would like to hop on once I get my car.

Although it is expected to be high fuel consumption, also good to know how far it can stretch and how it fare against MPI version

i use xioayi dashcam nia x2. front and back.

just sent for 10k kms service RM295, asked back the old air filter because only used for 3000kms and can be reused in the future.

fuel economy is 10.5l/100km premium. i'd reckon the difference is negligible because diff driving style, environment and road conditions

I also just completed my 10k KM service but was charged for RM380. The additional item are Nano Mist and Tyre Balancing & Alignment. Your service centre is so honest to completely follow the service maintenance guide online. I did check with them but they say Tyre Balancing & alignment should be done.

Recently I managed to improve my fuel economy to 6.6L/100km driving along Klang Valley. But as stated by your good self my driving style may not be suited to everyone.

And even more it is good news for Proton biggrin.gif

I will get my car next week, anything I should know for my inspection before I sign the documents? Apart from the things in post 1 which are meanwhile maybe not that relevant any more.

mine is on the meter, i couldnt be bothered to do manual calculation as fuel consumption is not my priority. its not something i pay attention to as i prefer to enjoy the drive then worry about it

i declined the alignment and rotation, i told the SA i've done less than 3000km no need for it. he took it off the list. nano mist i took it. i have been a regular at this SC for 10 years already, all my protons are serviced in this SC

Just installed power boot at all cross fifty with leg sensor.

If u planned to install one make sure it is not universal model. Universal wont let u open/close boot from the unlock button at driver seat.

I did mine too at X fifty a week ago. I thought he used only 1 model type model. Young guys, both of them 25 years old. One studying for professional qualification and come over part-time, while the other guy manned the outlet.

Anyone installed a running board? Proton seems to offer nothing even they had it in the "utility package". Shopee and Lazada full with it, probably all China stuff for Binyue.

U mean 1 model for the power boot ke?
Yeah. He did.

He said got customer come to his place make complaint & asked him to check. Customer install smwhere else. Cannot open boot thru unlock button.

He said universal power boot not follow proton/geely spec. So if anyone of u want to install power boot, make sure it follow proton/geely spec.

Guys, can anyone confirm if the factory version comes with tinting? It looks to my naked eye like there is tinting.

My SA says no tinting whatsoever. Car workshop Uncle say got, and better just keep using it vs putting a cheap rm1.5k tint.

Any opinions? My budget for tinting around rm1.5k, and also must be JPJ compliant.

Thanks!

Looks indeed tinted, but obviously it is not when Proton says so.
