I put the RFID on my upper left side of outer windscreen as I put PPF on headlamps, so can't put RFID there. Note that you can't reuse the RFID sticker; once you tear it (e.g. replace PPF at headlamp), need to buy a new one.

BTW, anyone figured out how to turn off "Hi Proton" voice activation?

Today got the chance to really drive the car.

Love it when turbo kicks in at low revs. Very addictive for sure.

I didn't noticed the whistling/ howling noise at certain speeds as I was too occupied talking to my mum.

What I noticed was the cabin was considerably quiet. That was why the discussion went well.

Aside from the limited adjustability of the right side mirror, I hated the low definition of the reverse camera & the line indicators were not as accurate as I want them to be.
Need to get used to it.

Gonna have to get used to the DCT characteristics. Gear change was considerably smooth during steady driving.

Built quality was alright.

probably can change the reverse cam module with hd ones? hmm.gif

You can request replacement FOC, but only once. If one wish to change RFID from old car to new car, just request replacement tag for free.

As for disabling Hi Proton, the only way is to unplug the mic as far as I know.

Rasanya All Cross Fifty did try to change the camera with original geely camera and quality still low.

My assumption proton lock the quality thru software. 😅

Most people get the 70mai A800s/A500s with rear cam because it seems like the best bang for buck.

If you have budget for some high quality ones like Thinkware and Viofo you can check the dashcam forum here in LYN

Yep I got the 70mai A800s; cost ~RM500+ including rear cam RC06, SD card 128GB on Shopee and installation cost at shop (significant discount since I also did tint there).

I heard Thinkware is like RM1.4k or something.. out of range lah lol.

Any idea where's the mic? I really don't like the idea of continuous voice monitoring lol.

Yeah saw some mention over that thread and they prefer capacitor instead of battery operated 70mai, but discussion doesn't seems active there despite this is somewhat a compulsory add on for today's market

From 70mai site it appear for parking function to work, need to add optional Hardware Kit for Parking Mode, means it is tapped to fuse box to use car bettery instead of the unit's battery? Wonder would that cause car battery to flat even faster hmm.gif

Guys, what kind of fuel economy are you all seeing for normal day to day driving?

Please specify if it is the FS or S/Exec/Prem model

Interesting topic I would like to hop on once I get my car.

Although it is expected to be high fuel consumption, also good to know how far it can stretch and how it fare against MPI version

i use xioayi dashcam nia x2. front and back.

just sent for 10k kms service RM295, asked back the old air filter because only used for 3000kms and can be reused in the future.

fuel economy is 10.5l/100km premium. i'd reckon the difference is negligible because diff driving style, environment and road conditions

But night time so so only.

I also just completed my 10k KM service but was charged for RM380. The additional item are Nano Mist and Tyre Balancing & Alignment. Your service centre is so honest to completely follow the service maintenance guide online. I did check with them but they say Tyre Balancing & alignment should be done.

Recently I managed to improve my fuel economy to 6.6L/100km driving along Klang Valley. But as stated by your good self my driving style may not be suited to everyone.

And even more it is good news for Proton biggrin.gif

I will get my car next week, anything I should know for my inspection before I sign the documents? Apart from the things in post 1 which are meanwhile maybe not that relevant any more.
