TM just changed my BTU so now I can enjoy full speed rclxm9.gif The technician found out that apparent the long CAT 5e cable running from my room to living room downstairs is bottlenecking my speed and suggested me to change it. I only managed to get 100 Mbps with that cable. If I use my CAT 6 cable, I can run full speed. May I know if you guys have any contact that I can call to install new LAN cable?

5e should be no issue. I am also using 5e to tarik cable from game room to my bed room.

Yeah. UniFi phone got dial tone, but cannot call out to any number. Used mobile phone to call, but MCO operation means they closed at 9:00pm. Online live chat also not operating. Maybe someone can try their twitter? If not have to wait till morning to call them. Till then, mobile hotspot and burn data. sad.gif

Check the termination. How is your cable terminated? Keystones or plugs?

The easiest way to go from 1000 to 100 is to terminate improperly.

certain area in JB and Cheras effected on unifi downtime.

no wonder suddenly the connection latency was good

5e should be no problem. check the termination.. most probably thats the culprit.. as suggested..
even cat 6 also will down to 100mbps if termination not good..
