It is fair because these promo usually has a catch. So if you felt unfair as an existing sub due to this promo, why don't try port out to Maxis and come back again

Personally I don’t mind. It doesn’t benefit me but the promo will benefit those who are with other ISPs. Shopee does the same thing. DigitalOcean too. Even new users to Unifi get a free month. We don’t get any free months.

For those who interested to follow up on my progress, just a quick update of what is the status regarding I wanted the same package they offer for Maxis Fiber users.

I've been dealing directly with the state manager since last year before they deploy Unifi in my area, so far still very friendly and helpful.

As you know they have many different departments in TM, they can't decide on this matter on their own, so they've forward my request to HQ and need to wait for next week to get the result. I also had a short chat with the manager, they understand I'm not satisfied, because if they do not resolve this I will definitely file a complaint at MCMC and contact KKMM. They are also afraid this issue will become another "Lowyat viral case." iirc, many years back one man almost take down Maxis, and the CEO came out to apologized.

TM just changed my BTU so now I can enjoy full speed  The technician found out that apparent the long CAT 5e cable running from my room to living room downstairs is bottlenecking my speed and suggested me to change it. I only managed to get 100 Mbps with that cable. If I use my CAT 6 cable, I can run full speed. May I know if you guys have any contact that I can call to install new LAN cable?

Same at Perling area. Can't even use landline to call.

Unfortunately it is not the case for my cable. I think the cable quality not good enough. You have anybody you know of can help me to tarik cable from 1st floor to ground floor?
