oh dear unifi problem is back again
i cant access twitch

Hey Unifi folks, how's your speed lately?

TIME has been really slow and unstable lately, just wondering if Unifi is affected as well.

I was going to but i scared wei. When i bought the router. It won't work.

Because that day, i have try. The pppoee n password i logged in. But damnnnnn it didn't work. I panic and chat with the cs to make report.

Fuhhh nasib i no need pay, because this is own fault for touching n resetting the modem.

Twitch is lagging out at even 360p    . TM are the only game in town and they still throttle.

Start from yesterday night,some sites and server that out of malaysia started become slow or inaccessible.
Speedtest slow is confirm for international network at night.
And seems like those at night that having twitch issue either bad ip get bad routing or lower speed plan getting lower QoS speed causing slow speed from twitch or other server. Because i didn't having any twitch problem-totally smooth.(Bad routing should routed to others country's twitch cache server rather than Singapore)

And i just found out that fastly cdn is also re-route to HKG rather than SGP.
So Reddit,Github etc might be slow at night,as the routing congestion.
Edited: I just check the PoPs from fastly debug, To Singapore will get worse connection,no wonder jump to HKG.

( Seems like 42 something or some other ip block really getting very bad routing connection to worldwide network.)

I called TM yesterday, ask them to reset port because the speed is unbearable for a week or so but i don't have time to report. Then the person reset the port, internet seems okay. But I am still not satisfied with the speed, so they said they will send onsite, but not able to go inside house to check, i said its ok. Then today, they came check, they said everything is ok outside, need to go inside to check but at my own risk. I do speedtest i got around 500++ downloads 200 upload for 800 turbo package. He said, ok la tu kan buat masa skarang ni? Kalau nak lebih nanti kita kena check dalam. I was like, okay la, as long as it's better than last week because my network seriously bad.

the speedtest that i share earlier is to malaysia server using LAN. now connection to international server are much slower than that.

I think they are throttling some streaming sites. My Twitch is so laggy. I can only watch at a decent streaming rate after I installed a free VPN.

If this goes on, will probably sub to a VPN. But for now, just using the free ProtonVPN.

Hi, is unifi/malaysia connection to some other countries really bad recently? for past few days i cant really load the image/videos in twitter. Some video streaming are also hard to connect

They throttle the connection. There is nothing any TM technicians can do. You can reset your ports all you want. It won't help.
