QUOTE(Fantasia @ Jun 4 2020, 10:46 PM) Unfortunately it is not the case for my cable. I think the cable quality not good enough. You have anybody you know of can help me to tarik cable from 1st floor to ground floor? 5e should be no problem. check the termination.. most probably thats the culprit.. as suggested..even cat 6 also will down to 100mbps if termination not good.. How is your cable terminated? Keystones or plugs? The easiest way to go from 1000 to 100 is to terminate improperly. QUOTE(Fantasia @ Jun 5 2020, 12:24 PM) My old BTU was Fibrehome AN5506 04B. Then they change to this yesterday. not sure what model. Colour pairs (T-568B) looks OK. Are the photos of both ends of the cable? If not, check the other end too, they should be the same. The plug is not clamped down on the cable sleeve so it's possible that some of the individual wires are loose and not contacting well or shorting its neighbour. I don't suppose you have a cable tester. Can check from these pictures? This post has been edited by soonwai: Jun 5 2020, 01:01 PM |

I don't suppose you have a cable tester. Yup, they are both ends of the cable. the first 2 pictures are the end in my room while the last 2 are the end in my living room. Yesterday the technicians came to check and he suggested me to change the cable altogether. I unfortunately have no contact for any contractor that can help me on this matter |

QUOTE(QuantumEdge @ Jun 5 2020, 02:13 PM) If the users has been bounded with another contract at other ISP, there is no way to ask cust to pay the penalty charges and jump ship to new ISP.Unless the new ISP are willing to help users (at current ISP) pay off the penalty cost, then that is another story. (I'm not talking about the new ISP mthly rebate) Plus I see from from one of the articles, the price is offer limited for 10 months rebate max only.. After that, the prices go up to GOLD price. So nothing different for it.. UNLESS this ISP is offered for lifetime rebate... |

Need your advice, my friend wants to install UniFi in her rented condo. So after checking, her unit is already registered with UniFi account which her housemates are using. I helped her to get an agent's help to check on the coverage and etc., agent said can submit for registration but will subject to TM's approval. Is that in such situation, one unit can only register one UniFi account? I know landed is fine because I tried before.
So in such situation, what are the chances to get TM's approval? Or can I advise her to go straight to Maxis? I supposed Maxis should exist since UniFi is there? I checked already no TIME coverage at her place. |

I registered landed is fine with a blacklisted address since they told me apply at TMPoints to avoid fraud. I guess condo also same.So in such situation, what are the chances to get TM's approval?
