You should just bought your own router, as mentioned by bro sHawTY. No point renewing contract when all they give is a shitty router.

If consider Tplink AX10, please take note that the AX (Wifi 6) is only support on its 5Ghz band.
AX10 2.4Ghz band is NOT support AX.

Whereas, the AX50 both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands support AX.

We did warn you that TM's stock router is crap. Neither, I recommend AC68U. However, if you can only choose between both, AC66U should be better than AC59U.

Lazada OOKAS is having promotion with Asus AX3000 today, sell RM677 (others are selling around RM720), and got further 11% discount, so end up RM 602.53 only.

with my uob visa cc got 10% cash back (if really can get this award), then will be really worth it,  about same price TPlink AX50.

I think should be a good deal. Because this Asus support Aimesh, next time when the Wifi 7 comes, this Ax3000 (wifi 6) can be a node of Aimesh to cover other area, just like the AC68U still can Aimesh with current wifi 6.

While the tplink AX50 don't have this feature, so is a drawback.

Late 2018, I downgrade from old 100 to 30, then got Turboed 10x speed.

For those who interested to follow up on my progress, just a quick update of what is the status regarding I wanted the same package they offer for Maxis Fiber users.

I've been dealing directly with the state manager since last year before they deploy Unifi in my area, so far still very friendly and helpful.

As you know they have many different departments in TM, they can't decide on this matter on their own, so they've forward my request to HQ and need to wait for next week to get the result. I also had a short chat with the manager, they understand I'm not satisfied, because if they do not resolve this I will definitely file a complaint at MCMC and contact KKMM. They are also afraid this issue will become another "Lowyat viral case." iirc, many years back one man almost take down Maxis, and the CEO came out to apologized.

Yes, it’s true or it should be that way. Unless they made a separate note of your password, there should be no way for them to retrieve your password. You can however easily get it from your router. It’s stored in plaintext there.

Depend on what router you use. Try go to internet setup or somewhere there. It should show up the username as xxx@unifi and password in plane text.

Yes. Login to your C1200 router and find under internet setup.

Try checking your WiFi adapter of your laptop, it may be very bad at detecting WiFi connection. My Intel Wireless AC 3165 is very bad, even at another room beside also signal gone already.

You may try buying a USB WiFi adapter to temporarily solve your issue.
