Guys I got some question, recently multiple agents had came to my area saying unifi is coming and will be around January next year, been thinking about grabbing the 300mbps plan but the price is kinda over the top.Does Unifi TV eat into your actual internet bandwidth? Like your internet speed drop when someone is watching using tvbox. If it doesnt I'd probably choose 100mbps. BTW these cabinets doesnt look unifi ready....?

Eh? B618 can be use that way?

Cause I know the included wifi router is a piece of $h!t, but dont wanna toss my unlocked B618 with I150 away at the moment (Unifi should be avaliable for me mid 2020? as they promised to laid fiber Jan 2020 but you know...). If it can do the wifi router job, will saved me plenty of cash for buying Asus's.

I dont recall seeing AP or bridge mode options on B618 tho, setting it up as LAN only?
Mind giving us a tutorial or such? TQ

Meanwhile my Digi cant even access baidu and pictures are not showing up on taobao and pixiv....

Still, Digi has the fastest internet speed in my area...had to wait until TM juice enough fiber from Streamyx users, Uh I mean strawberries

What I've seen from forum, fastest is around a week
but someone had waited for 6 months for contractors to come install

Had enough of TM's fiber coverage bullshit at my area, time to go MCMC
anyone tried escalating lack of HSBB issue to MCMC before? Are they even helpful at all?

I tried every possible methods, from TM point to HQ, monthly PM their FB asking for coverage;
They send agents twice (2017 and 2019) claims unifi will be avaliable mid or end of the year.
Everytime takes our thumbprints and IC, but no actual actions are being taken. MCMC is my last resort, if this doesnt help I'm grabbing the entire tmn to boycott TM (we already did on streamyx).

I asked all 4 other fiber network provider about the lack of coverage, all say no as Maxis Celcom Digi ride on TM's infrastructure while Time say they're not allowed to laid fiber at my area. TNB wise, they're in melaka...I told them the lack of competitors in the area but they say still on test runs, not going big.
It pissed me off so much as there's a high school 100meters behind my house, even they are stuck with slow ass Internet...

Agents claims soon, TM on MCMC has different story

After 3 years of endless complaints at TM's online CS and store, a mail to MCMC and finally a call to local YB which they passed info up at Dato Gobind's office...
Those who are at Bandar Putra Kulai, I've got a bad news...
Agents who took our info basically just submitted another demand list to TM which they ignored; while local YB had already send a direct letter to MCM requesting TM allocate budget for fiber laying ASAP... they tried, the problem is on TM and TM alone

NO ETA on UNIFI as at Jan 2020, probably wont be avaliable untill mid year

Tried, TM want us to pay RM20k for fiber coverage (according to a dude living another street away) if not we will be forever waiting
Even if there's demand, TM doesnt seems to care...I stopped visiting TM point 2 years ago after repeating filling in demand forms
