How options compare IB with Thinkorswim in terms of user friendly?

I find TD ameritrade is easy. What do you think?

Depends on what you want.
IB have cheapest margin rate and best Forex rates.
There's commission involve for options trading from IB side.
TD trading commission for options is usually cheaper at usd0.70 Vs IB which can goes up to USD1.50 but lousy margin rate and Forex rates not as good as IB.

If you are based in US/or earning USD, no brainer to use TD.

Copied from IBSG telegram chat where someone asked the same question.

Ibkr rates
1.83%-1.08%p.a unless you are a whale.
https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/tradi...argin-rates.php

TD SG rates
9.75%-7.75%p.a
https://www.tdameritrade.com.sg/why-td-amer...de/pricing.html

For forrx rate, can't find it but IBKR is spot rate (real time market rates without any markup)

What u mean? If ew get premium immediately, so we must buy back the options right before expiry date.

depends on what you want to do. if you want to own the stocks via cash-covered puts strategy, just keep it until it gets physically converted to shares (obviously have to be in-the-money or near-the-money)

I wonder how many of us waiting for the EPF withdrawal. And also curious what is the recommendation % reserved for Cash in your portfolio? or it's better to invest every penny in stock.
