stashaway simple offering 4.1% p.a interest rate.
any comment guys?

IMHO StashAway Simple's 4.1% p.a. is good (for parking one's spare cash) but not great.

Been long time since I drop by this thread. The glory days of SA is long gone it seems....

Anyone still holding on to their classic SRI 22% or similar portfolio? I've been slowly transferring into SA Simple. As soon as there's some gain I just transfer the funds onto Simple. Last month just transferred all my 36%. Now left with a 22% portfolio

Very flat this year but 36% SRI still have gains after the latest round of reopt only EWJ and XLK still lagging

QUOTE(eternity4av @ May 11 2023, 02:49 PM)
re this right, so if USA economy collapse, does it mean the SA/Wahed investment that we do pertaining 100% US stocks, will burn our hands or is it a opportunity? i think is a lost more, because we bought at exp price, and it collapse? do enlighten me if im wrong?
*
Not 100% US based on the latest reopt but close to 70% πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Cannot look at RM πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ look at USD to see whether it is positive as you are still losing money and Stashaway still underperforming

Just announced/teased on the Stashaway Flexible webinar: one-fund portfolios in Flexible will incur a flat 0.3% p.a management fees (instead of the 0.8% - 0.2% ladder structure), applicable for each one-fund Flexible portfolios. I'm cautiously optimistic about this announcement, pending final confirmation in black & white once the no-fee promotion ends in June.

single fund flexible portfolio, meaning? only 1 fund/criteria being selected to qualify for it?

Flexible portfolios let's you choose any number of ETFs to make up a portfolio. One-fund flexible portfolio means you make a flexible portfolio, but only choose one (1) ETF inside. It can be any ETF. Example: ISAC 99%, cash 1%.

Currency conversion losses? or processing fee?

you don't need to browse all 1000+ pages, just random few pages back and will see already
see bcombat post even the conservative barely float, anything more aggressive in the last 2~3 years cannot even reach periscope depth

worse is when you withdraw

You need to check on your transaction details to see whether any fees being charged to you but I don’t think your money went to Simple but normal Stashaway investing πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ when it seems like fees and FX conversion being charged

SA should charge lower fees, their performance just not good enough.
