Since this is a GrabPay related thread, I got question to ask.

If default payment mode is to GrabPay Wallet and it's running low balance. What happened if I scan and pay for an amount more than that?

1. Tranaaction failed?
2. Wallet is triggered for auto reload from the stored payment card?
3. Wallet balance deducted and short amount will be charged into payment card?

But under Auto Top-Up menu, it'll be activated or initiated if wallet balance below amount you set.

Auto Top-Up amount can also be set to. Preset amount is 20, 50, 100 and etc.

I wanted to know how GrabPay Wallet handles such situation.
I'm not a frequent Grab user and no intention to have high balance in the wallet. The wallet is not able to cash out or withdraw also.

Let say your txn is RM 20 but your wallet balance is RM15
So you need to topup for the txn to go thru

Auto reload will only apply if your txn after your txn go thru and the balance is below rm5(minimum) or any amount that you set

Yes. This is what I had expected even with the Auto Topup feature as from its menu, it's still rather "manual".

Some other merchant that is using Grabpay non food --- CZipLee (stationery shop in bangsar) it is slightly upscale in price though,

Starbucks is by Berjaya group, they are partnering with Alibaba, and razer which is why alipay is available in most of their subsidiaries like SB, 7-11 I don't forsee sb adopting other payment system in the near future. Coffee bean accepts grab pay.

Citibank cash back card also gives 10% cashback for grab, I tried topping up grabpay, got 10% back. but there is a minimum spend with citi cards.

Wait, CzipLee accepts Grabpay?

Didn't see the Kajang branch accepting it though.

Btw, dradormien TS should make this a Grabpay discussion thread, anyone agrees? Grabpay seriously needs it's own discussion thread cuz it's gaining popularity lately and probably will rise even further in the near future with the tough competition.

Grab is piloting RM50 monthly subscription plan

Does the RM 50 monthly subscription plan worth?

Second time I use this GrabPay, this time around at coffee bean. I think if there is a long queue, paying by GrabPay just makes things worst. It is not seamless, we need to input amount etc. But luckily during the time, there's no customer. I was the only one.

I used grabpay for Murni discovery, inside scoop and other restaurants that listed up there. All IT store also accept grabpay and platinum member can get up to 20x points.

There is some restaurant up there but did not accept grabpay, cannot even find the grabpay logo but i saw Favepay and Boostpay.

TBH i find the system a bit not user friendly, user has scan the QR code and key in the figure and swipe through. Not like wechatpay where merchant just scan on your QR code.

Touch N go e wallet also much more convinient. The cashier will scan your barcode. That's what hinders me from using Grabpay if there is long queue.

According to Grab's website, it is possible to offset bill with GrabPay merchants using GrabRewards points. Anyone tried that? How is the conversion rate? How many points to convert to RM1 for example? I could not find more information about that.

possible. tried at coffee bean. there'll be a slider to choose amount to redeem. however it doesn't seem to redeem all points. only certain amount. no idea the conversion rate be because it differs from both times I tried at coffee bean.

When you about to pay (checkout after key-in the amount), it'll show at the bottom of the app.

Thanks for sharing. Do you mean it is different each time you redeem the points even with the same merchant? That seems strange. How far apart was the time? Are you at the same membership level when you redeem them?

Just realise the reward points given using Grabpay at merchant is very high. I just spent RM21.40 in a dining place and get +321 points. At gold level.

Refer: https://www.grab.com/my/grabrewards/

Spending at merchant:
Gold level: RM1 = 15 points
Silver level: RM1 = 10 points

Spending on Grab apps itself (Grabcar or Grabfood) definitely a lot lower the points given. Less than half the above amount per RM.
And they seems to encourage people to use JustGrab / Grabshare by offering higher reward points there. Hmm...

Refer: https://www.grab.com/my/grabrewards/

Spending at merchant:
Gold level: RM1 = 15 points
Silver level: RM1 = 10 points

Spending on Grab apps itself (Grabcar or Grabfood) definitely a lot lower the points given. Less than half the above amount per RM.
And they seems to encourage people to use JustGrab / Grabshare by offering higher reward points there. Hmm...
*
They want to promote area that they're weak at.
Using GrabPay to pay at merchant offline store is definitely at the top.

Not necessary as both different stuff.
GrabFood = delivery
GrabPay = a platform use to make payment

Best example is McD. Is available on GrabFood but you cant use GrabPay to pay for your food at McD yet.

Interesting. Any GrabRewards points for spending on 11street? Is it possible to use the points to offset spending like those available for in-store purchases? Anyone who have tried do share your experience.

Looks like can't use points to offset payment. Dunno if points are awarded as I didn't go through with that purchase.

I just did payment through GrabPay on 11st. I can confirm that point rate is RM1 = 9 points (Platinum). Don't know how did they come up with this. Because on offline GrabPay usage should be RM1 = 20 points (Platinum).

Looks like they use the same rate as Grabcar. Not too bad lah. There’s an 11s RM5 reward for 600 points.

Later I'll try also. Not sure if 1 point for everybody or is the base point. If so, Platinum should get 2 points for RM1 topup.

Update: Looks like 1 point irregardless of one's tier.

Very true. I kena once last year when buying a Casio calculator. Luckily so far only once. In fact I think I’m the only 11s patron here that’s ever encountered this.

Also money paid using ewallet will be refunded to credits. Essentially it’ll be stuck at 11s so buyer be aware and plan for that.

As far as payment gateway, the more the better. I especially like Grabpay. Also Boost when they have promos.

Yup not able to withdraw to bank.
So unless you are hardcore GrabPay user utilizing Grab services (car, food, delivery) or at the merchant, is not really worth keeping so much money in the ewallet.

No, I think they need to do something before GrabPay.

You need to inform them pay by GrabPay before payment as what the staff told me.

Based on the receipt, I think 5% discount from total amount.

Must really spend. Credit inside must be utilized by spending or transfer to another user.
That's why it is pointless actually to top up so much credit in GrabPay unless you are hardcord user of Grab / GrabFood / Grab merchant.

I'll post here where I used before. Not many Grabpay merchants in my area.

Tealive, everywhere,
Golden Curry House, Bandar Mahkota Cheras,
AllIT, everywhere,
Manhattan Fish Market, everywhere, IOI City Mall doesn't accept GP but QCM does
Teochew Cendol, everywhere,

Comma separate them so easy to paste into spreadsheet and sort.

Down the road I believe the integration will come.
More and more merchants (non F&B) starts to accept GPay.
I think they're trying to compete with TnG e-wallet with the downfall of Boost.

Grabpay really hopeless. Went to ALLIT to buy GTX1060 + SSD + PSU. Wallet max RM1500 so already calculate nicely. The items total around RM1200. Turns out payment to ALLIT has a limit of RM1000 per day. That's the same limit if you want to transfer credits to another person.

Called them up twice before going to ask about this as I was concerned about any daily spending limit. None of the calls helped. Bodoh customer service.

Till you use FavePay and see.
You will vomit blood.
There's more T&C.

Case 1:
Want to pay with FavePay.
Cashier said the bills contain promotional items and therefore cannot pay using FavePay.

Case 2:
Want to pay with FavePay for Item A which cost > RM 500.
Cashier said only Item B can be paid using FavePay. Item B is disposable and are consumable item.

Today there's 20% rebate for mobile top-up but my U Mobile still haven't reflect the RM10 that I've just topped up. hmm.gif

EDIT: So it's due to U Mobile's server interruption I guess. The RM10 came in after their promised 10pm service restoration.

EDIT: So it's due to U Mobile's server interruption I guess. The RM10 came in after their promised 10pm service restoration.

I did receive the RM2 GrabPay rebate for my RM10 U Mobile top-up via Grab. It's just that the RM10 wasn't reflected in my U Mobile Self Care until 10pm last night.

So the rebate can only be used for another topup purchase right..

I though we got paid with grab credit.

I top up RM30 and got rm6 rebate and looks like it can be used for another topup.

That’s odd. I was using as usual (the basic GrabPay) on Thursday night and it was fine. But when I used again on Friday night, it’s prompting me to upload IC.

I thought they have been enhancing their security with facial recognition which includes a selfie upload of your own but not sure if NRIC upload is needed together with this.

The announcement was made 2 to 3 weeks back together with Anthony Loke.

Anyone using Grab Rewards RM5 DiGi reload. Please check your validity. Looks a glitch somewhere causing the reload to have same-day validity. ie: you reload on the 29th, it expires at the end of the 29th.

Grabpay can't be "system down" because it only relies on QR code and an app instead of a terminal...

Can definitely say that the merchant is giving BS excuses.

Probably gonna take a decade to get matured based on it's current stage here unless the government take a step further and do something.

u mean this is a nationwide issue with GrabPay top up now that affected all users? no announcement at all for this kind of major downtime doh.gif
btw, called bank to verify why Grab top up failed, and was told no issue with the bank but merchant side whereby payment got refund back immediately within few seconds right after card was charged with the top up amount.

Added on
btw, first time got this new OTP screen

Digi RM5 topup reward still acting up. RM5 topup credited but with less than 1 day validity.

That's why we don't buy PGC from Shopee and Lazada anymore. Also a lot more environmentally friendly.

How much is the Citibank cash back?
*
10% cash back.

Yeah, the only cons is hv to be verified by counter, and most of the times the staffs need 5-10 mins to process it, lol

1, 4 voucher = RM29 x 4 = RM116
2, 10% off from 11 street promotion voucher, = RM 104.4.
So I pay via grabpay at RM104.40

With that, i earn
1, Reload my grabpay with Citibank CC with 10% cash back, = RM10.44
2, RM20 11street voucher + RM 8 cash back

"mathematically" i spend RM65.96 for that. tongue.gif
Such calculation just to make self happy, lol

Just in case anyone is wondering. Orders made with Grab's 11street RM20 (Min RM21) voucher from their latest promo, requires payment to be made via Grabpay.

If nothing to buy, just grab a RM30 petrol voucher for RM9.

So use grabpay to buy 4x rm29 evoucher@11street to get rm8 CB and a rm20 coupon. Then use the rm20 coupon to buy 1x rm29 evoucher?
Promotion is ending and limited to the first 100,000 redemptions, seems to be a bit risky. Anyway TQVM.

I think is for the first and 2nd (or maybe 3rd) time.
I was attracted by that at first also, but now they are always the same price in my case.

Is to encourage new user to use their GrabPay ewallet platform.
After few rides, the promo will no longer be there. And price for using GrabPay payment and cash will be the same.
But then again, GrabPay will earn higher reward points. And also definitely easier method to pay. No need to pass cash to the driver, wait for balance, etc. Save up all the hassle.

It's good, previously before this they had I think RM 0.99 pack also, recall I only used the RM 8 off for the Alley.
Their merchants are all quite good unlike Maybank discount, 99% merchant unheard of.
But recent news that they're considering to spin off GrabPay worries me

Myself. 11street and retail shops. Retail has highest reward points. RM1 = 20 points. I seldom take Grabcar.

Love it when I buy Apple stuff, I use Grabpay and get 20000 points for RM1000 purchase. 20000 points is equal to RM125 worth of prepaid reloads (RM5 reload for 800 points). Earlier this year they had 11s RM5 vouchers for 600 points which was even better.

Mostly F&B chains. Tealive, Llao llao, Coffee Bean, and lots of other places.

List of merchants here: https://www.grab.com/my/grabpay/map/#
But just keep a look out at the counter normally there's a big green "We accept Grab Pay" sign

If you spend RM1, you get 20 points. I assume 1 point = 1 cent. So 20 cents = 20% cashback.

To see the value of your points, go to app, click Rewards.
For example:
RM10 Grab Ride = 1150 points [1 point = 0.87 cents]
RM6.50 Tealive drink = 500 points [1 point = 1.3 cents]
RM10 MBO voucher = 1200 points [1 point = 0.83 cents]

QUOTE(soonwai @ May 13 2019, 06:25 PM)

*
As above, think you can get better value on other redemptions (if you have use for them)

Suppose my ride is RM12 but I only have RM8 GrabPay credits. Can I use the credits and have them charge me the balance on my card ? Or do I have to either make full payment using card or have to top up another min RM10 into credits ?
I tried looking in the FAQ, question not answered
*
You must have RM12 in order to use GrabPay credit.
If not, you have to select normal CC method.
Cannot pay partial GrabPay / partial CC.

So yeah, you have to top up another RM10 (minimum top up value) or get someone to transfer over RM4 to make RM12 if you still want to pay using GrabPay method.

No exclusion stated in TnC.

I think is an error regarding "top up amount", that refers to mobile top up under same campaign.
Just assume it as spending amount.

The T&C is a little confusing here:-

QUOTE
Rebate amount receive will be based on 20% of the total top up amount:

    RM1-RM10 Checkout amount = RM2 Rebate
    RM11 -RM20 Checkout amount = RM4 Rebate
    RM21-RM30 Checkout amount = RM6 Rebate
    RM31-RM40 Checkout amount = RM8 Rebate
    RM41-RM50 Checkout amount = RM10 Rebate
    RM51-RM60 Checkout amount = RM12 Rebate
    RM61-RM70 Checkout amount = RM14 Rebate
    RM71 & above Checkout amount = RM16 Rebate
How much did you spend on 11street? Did you get 20% rebate exactly? I am wondering, for example, if spend RM11 will get RM4 rebate or RM2.20 rebate?

For Grabpay mobile reload, the app identifies the top up number based on its prefix and display the corresponding telco logo (for eg. 012 - Maxis). What if my 012 number is actually another telco, say Umobile? Is the system able to top up correctly?

1st purchase of rm29x4=rm116
2nd purchase of rm29x4-20=rm96.
U get rm240 petrol voucher and rm16 rebate and pay rm116+96=212, a savings of 20.75%, not bad.

Has anyone reload Digi prepaid using Mobiltyone @11S? Good service? Thinking of buying this instead of petrol using Grabpay.

You only need to spend rm21 and above to use the rm20 voucher. So is rm(116-16+9)=109. 27% discount. Digi topup is good also.

Would just like to issue a disclaimer that I encountered a couple of restaurants on this list that doesn't support GrabPay (anymore) so don't take it as gospel.

Nevertheless, the information was taken directly from Grab's merchant page linked earlier in this thread so it should still be relatively accurate (or so I hope).

Why used already the voucher won’t update as “redeemed” or “used” or whatever.

It still show the code as initial before use.

depends

petrol stations are managed by independent entity. they can offer extra services in the station.

eg

their pumps systems (from Sapura) are linked to -> Setel system -> Setel app. this is controlled by Petronas.

inside the service station, however, the owner can offer variety of services such as ePay, or maybe other ewallet services too. since ewallet is just another medium for them to collect money, it's no different than their current cc terminals.

upcoming Fuel Subsidy, it will be tapped under GHL's network of cc terminals that is already deployed on most petrol stations too.

Citi launches co-branded credit cards with SE Asia's Grab in push for more customers

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-citigrou...s-idUSKCN1TC083

HONG KONG (Reuters) - Citigroup has teamed up with Singapore-based ride-hailing firm Grab to launch co-branded credit cards, as it looks to boost its Asian customer base by about 13% via partnerships with digital firms, a senior Citi executive said.

The new cards mark the latest step in Grab’s big push into the financial services sector, an area it has earmarked for growth. For the U.S. bank, it is in line with its strategy to offer its products within online ecosystems as consumers spend more time on smartphones.

The Citi-Grab co-branded cards will be issued in the Philippines on Tuesday and in Thailand later this year, before being rolled our in other Southeast Asian markets.

...

user posted image

Benefits of using the card include earning more Grab points per spend on the app, 3x more points from Citi on dining and entertainment purchases and online subscriptions, and 12 free Grab rides upon spending PHP10,000 (~US$200) within 60 days of getting the card.

Generally true. I only use Grabfood if there're good discounts. Also depends on the restaurants around you. There's one or two in my area which are not too bad. Of course still have to pay RM5 delivery.

This is today's. After 40% discount, RM39 for 5 servings. OK lah.

Depends on the restaurant lah. McDonalds and Dominos, never use Grabfood for that. Dominos can use Grabpay. Pek Raya got 20%. The one I posted above has the same price at the shop and in Grab. Secret Recipe also same I think. There's also a Yong Tau Foo place which I ordered before. 30 pieces at about RM1.60 per piece after discount. That was quite OK also. One advantage of Grabfood is that I save a lot on drinks.

Domino's with Grabpay Pek Raya 20% rebate.
RM13.90 for a large and personal.
RM10.90 if less the RM3 Grab rebate.
RM8.60 if less the potential value (RM2.30) of the 278 grabpoints from this order.

Do you mean the free delivery for the first time you order from whatever shop? Yah, no more already. That was good though.

Have you tried Foodpanda? RM3 delivery usually, sometimes free. Foodpanda also has a lot more options. Many of those small individual stalls in coffee shops use them. And there's a RM20 for min RM40 order new user code. It's a unique code printed on a card. If you see a stall with Foodpanda, you can ask them for the card. You'll also need a magnifying glass cause it's printed really small.

I have did 1 experience before...
I went to this kopitiam... With alot hawker stall and I saw got 1 stall full or grab food order and many grab food rider waiting there... So I sit down and open grab app... Check their price and order the same food on the spot to consume....

That food cost me RM 6.5 if u eat there by normal ordering la of course... Not order using grab food....
Then I tried IF I wanted to order the same food from the same stall with grab food... The price is Rm 9.5

Why that you said that you save alot on drinks?

That 40% must be the package that you subscribe for Rm 25 monthly rite?

I 1 person ordering can't even use the 40% discount leh... So wasted...
In my area... Mostly all have marked up their price except for some mamak...

Benefits of using the card include earning more Grab points per spend on the app, 3x more points from Citi on dining and entertainment purchases and online subscriptions, and 12 free Grab rides upon spending PHP10,000 (~US$200) within 60 days of getting the card.

To anyone who's planning to use the Grabpay rebate.

Right after you "Slide to Pay", you should see this.

Normally any refund goes back to the wallet. You may need to request for special consideration in your case.

laugh.gif Guess what? I sent messages to their FB team since day 1 they rolled out this feature. They didn't understand me and got IT team to keep in touch with me via email, I also responded the same and told them MNP was there since 2008 way before Grab was established, how can they not allow users to change the telco based on our needs? We know better than their intelligent system's auto-detection. dry.gif Then, no more reply from them. I'm giving up on them as all my prepaid no. are all MNP-ed no. laugh.gif

Better use other services to reload and enjoy discount.

Try reloading once which will fail. The next time the number should have the correct telco. That worked for me.

Try topping up my sister's Hotlink yesterday & the logo shown was Maxis (not sure if it'll change to Hotlink) but after processing for almost an hour, received message that the transaction failed.

Ended up using TnG eWallet & it was successful instantly.

Based on your message, I checked my sister's number again & it's still showing Maxis.

Grabpay tries to be smart, but end up the effect is being stupid.
Now I also cannot top-up the mobile credit because my provider is U-mobile while the systems detect it as Maxis

Earn grabpoints when booking ride or Topping up with Mastercard

TL;DR
Grabcar Plus - Pay with MC, earn extra 600 points per ride, up to 5x (3000 points)
Grabcar Exec - Pay with MC, earn extra 1200 points per ride, up to 5x (6000 points)

Top up RM30 with MC, earn 1500 points

Coupled with the UOB RM10x3 reload to earn RM8 grabcar voucher, my grab wallet is >Rm100 right now. Usually it is less than RM50

I think if you get notification then you are eligible.
For the MasterCard, the only way is to try.
Even if you don't get, RM30 is pretty easy to use up.

Wanna ask ask on:

4. After added MC and performed top up of min rm30, successful, how soon is the reward of points will be credited and will there be any notification?

Thanks

I couldn't recall if I saved any MC previously, but I gave it a try awhile ago.

For merchants yes, since I'm at Plat level, it is x20 reward points.
However, I use rides on daily basis so it is x12 for me, if I spend on merchants, will be more. The points can be ballooned up quite fast. laugh.gif

Ya, the accumulation is quite fast. It surprise me, that is why i try to double confirm from here.
Lets say i want to redeem RM 5 off on CBTL with 400 points, i redeem now and use it later, ok? Or have to be on the spot redeem like McDonald app promo?

Enjoy the points while it last, sooner or later they will devalue the redemption points again.
The platinum status is too easy to achieve.

Foresee the following, once they grow substantial market share, now merchants still very limited, hence retail users also limited
- platinum status harder to achieve
- less points for spending (ie no more 20x)
- more expensive redemption

Before Grab Pay came into picture, Plat was very difficult to achieve. I still achieved with my rides. laugh.gif

Nothing is permanent, it is not a promo but a feature. Just use it until it revises (touch wood).

Yes it's not permanent, like I mentioned they can change many things, like changing 20x, or raise the bar to retain Platinum or just increase the redemption points

For merchants yes, since I'm at Plat level, it is x20 reward points.
However, I use rides on daily basis so it is x12 for me, if I spend on merchants, will be more. The points can be ballooned up quite fast. laugh.gif

Definitely. RM600 = 12000 points if you're Platinum. Problem is whether the rewards are suitable for you since they vary. Last month 12000 points is the equivalent of RM75 worth of prepaid reloads which was great for me. Or RM100 worth of Syabas bill payment which is still available.

they diff is boost give cash. grabpay give points. which only can redeem limited voucher (tied to specific value), not cash (can use at what amount u like).

if they can intro "pay with point" features it would be great.

in fact if u use grabpay at some merchant, it allow to redeem partially of the points u have.

Let say RM10, u can opt to pay RM5 + 600 points.

That is correct but if you happened to have water bills to pay, or prepaids to reload or stuff to buy from, sometimes, Tesco or 11street then it's perfect.

Reloaded mobile for rm30 and received rm6 (20% of the top-up amount and max rebate is up to rm16) in the form of Grabpay credit, say within 2 minutes after the successful transaction.

Conversion rate for using grab point to slash down the price when payment is a bit down compare to redeem voucher in grab rewards.

For example,
24 points to slash rm0.15, that's 160 points to RM1.
To redeem voucher in grab rewards, normally 120 points to RM1. Sometimes when got offer, that even better. But the cons is there is limited voucher can be redeemed, depends on individual's usage pattern.

So using point to slash down price still a good option, cash back ard 12.5% (for platinum user)

The best option is to redeem grabcar or grabfood voucher. Or maybe watch out for some platinum exclusive voucher which is more attractive.

is it true that paying using grab wallet gives u more reward points compared to using your credit card directly without reloading the grab wallet?

my fren also said for grab rides the fares will be cheaper if using grab wallet. I tried checking the fares when changing the payment method, the fare remains the same

Anyone would you please humor me to my poor understanding on the price calculation on grabfood: How does the system calculate the 20% discount?

mcd product subtotal RM 12.75
tax RM 0.76
promo (pek raya senang-20%) RM -2.75
Delivery fee RM 5.00

Total RM 15.76

Refer: https://www.grab.com/my/grabrewards/

But didnt segregate Grab Wallet or direct with CC.
Only Grabpay VS Cash.

Yes, sometimes will have promo specific for grab wallet usage. Using direct CC not able to use the promo code.

RM12.75 + RM0.76 = RM13.51
RM13.51 x 20% = RM2.702
Grab will round up the number to the nearest payable amount eg RM0.05
So RM2.702 -> RM2.75

I think the joke is on you?

Anyone would you please humor me to my poor understanding on the price calculation on grabfood: How does the system calculate the 20% discount?

mcd product subtotal                RM 12.75
tax                                          RM  0.76
promo (pek raya senang-20%)    RM  -2.75
Delivery fee                              RM  5.00

Total                                          RM 15.76
*
AFAIK the discount is only applicable on the bolded part, but i don't know how they count until RM2.75

2) if registered MasterCard "A" in GrabPay account A before, now register MasterCard "A" in GrabPay account B and top up, will get bonus points for GrabPay account B?
3) if registered MasterCard "A" in GrabPay account A before, now register MasterCard "A" in GrabPay account B & C and top up, will get bonus points for GrabPay account B & C as well?

Applicable only for first time Mastercard® top-up user.
But I have topup using the MasterCard ‘A’ few months ago and using the MasterCard ‘B’ topup last weeks but still can get 1500points yesterday using MasterCard ‘B’. And using MasterCard ‘B’ topup in another grab account also get 1500points.

If we use the cc top up or whatever which show that our point is over 1500 ... does it mean we should be a gold level member correct ? Or it is not ? cause my account still show that i am under the Silver level which from the chart below silver should be more than 200 and less than 900 ??

This mastercard topup bonus points will not affect your member tier. You need to earn 200points on grab rides or grabpay merchants to upgrade to silver tier.

Grab’s rewards are always changing. Right now, for me there’s nothing good though you may find something useful. If and when they’re available, my favorite rewards are 11street RM5, Syabas RM5 and Digi RM5. All for 600 points. Digi RM5 for 800 points is also ok.

Depends on how you look at it lor.

Spend RM70 to get 160 miles, beats any CC out there.
But 1400 points can get quite a good value of Grab/Grabfood vouchers.
I am with you that redeeming grab/grabfood vouchers is better.

I used to have a lot of Grab points from my rides but since Grab these days don't give promo code like they used to (during Uber era), I used my points to offset my rides. At least more practical for me, for airmiles I will use CC spending instead. Well, that's just me.

The best value redemption for points is the Grab Ride / Grab Food which is close to 1 cent / point. I think it's 0.9 cents / point?
So, 1400 points x RM0.009 = RM12.60

Say 1 KF Mile = RM0.04,
So, 160 KF Miles = RMRM6.40

You're only getting half the theoretical maximum value, unless of course you don't take Grab Rides / Food

Sorry 2nd time purchase using Grabpay for bonus but still not very sure.
My balance is rm30, so I will top-up with MasterCard rm87, so total now is rm117.
Click on Prestomall within Grab app to bring it to Prestomall app.
Purchase 4x rm29 Petronas evoucher and pay rm116 with grabpay.
Get and redeem rm8 rebate in grab app.
Grabpay balance now is rm9.
Get the rm20 Prestomall discount code in grab app.
Within a month use balance of rm9+rm20 discount code to buy another rm29 Petronas evoucher.
Just want to reconfirm is this how it works?

I have 3 prestomall x grab rm20 voucher but only can add one into prestomall. I think need to use first then can add again. If not, open new prestomall account.

*
Yup, almost exactly what I do. If you have BPoints, buy the RM10 voucher for 500 points to reduce the RM116 to RM106.

top up RM40 doesn't get 1500 pts already

btw the grabpaybonus T&C very contradicting:

1) PrestoMall
Receive RM20 discount voucher
When you spend minimum of RM100 with GrabPay Credits

2) PrestoMall: RM20 discount with a minimum spend of RM21

so need to spend rm100 to get rm20 or rm21 to get rm20 discount voucher? doh.gif

You get 6x points for total after discount excluding tax.
For e.g. Food RM 10, tax RM 0.60, promo discount RM 2.00, delivery RM 5 = RM 13.60.
You will get 6x for RM 13.60-0.60 (tax) = 13 x 6 = 78 points.

Not using the grabpin you set, is using the grab activation code sent to your phone.

Done many times using different grab accounts but the rm20 voucher only can apply in prestomall once. So, you need to create new prestomall account to use the other voucher.

*
Cart coupon applies to the whole order. One coupon per order. Just like Shopee/Lazada vouchers.

Bonus coupons applies to each item in the order. So if you order 5 different items, you can use up to 5 bonus coupons. Also if you order 3 units of the same item, the bonus coupon only applies to 1 unit.

Bonus and cart coupons are mutually exclusive. If you use cart, cannot use bonus. And vice-versa.

There're also shipping coupons which can stack with any of the above.

Wow nice! Look at it the bonus coupon definitely more superior than cart coupon then because can use multiple time in one transaction that got few different items and still can pay as one lump sum to achieve the minimum spending for certain promotion.

Is there a limit of how many cart and bonus coupon can be used in one account? Maybe daily / monthly / lifetime limit?

Thank you for your detail explanation!

On another hand, I just spent my 20% voucher for Grab Food for Platinum users on Musang King durian. laugh.gif Since I live in PJ, so it's within delivery coverage for SS2 Durian. Maximum discount is RM 20, so I bought two boxes, each at RM 50. After discount is RM 80 and delivery fees RM 5. Total was RM 85. I already finished one box and had 13 seeds. Good job on the vacuum packaging. thumbup.gif

Disclaimer: I am not a big fan of durian and have no deep knowledge about durian. However, the seeds are flat which look like Musang King ones. Someone I know also mentioned the colours and wrinkles do look like Musang King. I have no experience with SS2 Durian but seems like a reputable durian place.

Yes and I have plenty BR vouchers from Lazada, still cannot finish. Skipping BR this round. If anybody wants any code from Pek Raya, please let me know, I am not using and expiring today. I have only used for Grab ride, Lazada and McD's, the rest still available. If you want the codes, then PM me. I'm not sure how to apply but since it comes with unique code which can be copied, I assume anybody can use it so long with code in hands.

Guys, just wanna ask about the Petronas E-Voucher RM30, how do you use it?

I already bought them and already have the e-code, but it ask me to scan the merchant QR code. I don't see any QR code in Petronas station. Ask the cashier, they also don't know how to operate this e-voucher?

Can teach me how you all do it ah?

Baskin Robbin should have 20+20%rebate. I have received pek senang raya 20%rebate and another 20% rebate at the alley but not received in domino. I will try at baskin Robbin later because today have 31+20+20% rebate.

Can teach me how you all do it ah?

do you have the apps? if you do. open your apps and choose can't scan the barcode then the cashier needs to enter a specific code which i believe is the code for that Petronas branch.

p.s not all outlets accept petronas 11street voucher
