The merchant list are not accurate in Penang. Manhattan fish market and Dave's Deli didn't accept grabpay. Can we have a crowd source F&B list?
So far I used grabpay successfully only for Sakae Sushi, Coffee bean, Wynn's cafe, China House in Penang.

11street now accepts Grabpay in addition to Boost and Presto.

Yup not able to withdraw to bank.
So unless you are hardcore GrabPay user utilizing Grab services (car, food, delivery) or at the merchant, is not really worth keeping so much money in the ewallet.

Grabpay can't be "system down" because it only relies on QR code and an app instead of a terminal...

Yalor, their “system” don’t even do anything. We scan the barcode and pay. They just check on their phone that the payment has been received.

Gotta deal with it...e wallet is still a new thing here...

Probably gonna take a decade to get matured based on it's current stage here unless the government take a step further and do something.

anyone have problem topping up Grab today? been trying since morning, keep unsuccessful despite the card that use to top up is healthy.
unsuccessful once OTP is entered, while few times it prompt pending for review, after 10 minutes got notification with top up unsuccessful.

Next time just scan their QR (if they ever display that) and make pmt straight, then show them already paid they cannot say no

they diff is boost give cash. grabpay give points. which only can redeem limited voucher (tied to specific value), not cash (can use at what amount u like).

if they can intro "pay with point" features it would be great.

what is conversion rate about? 1000 point = rm ?

Conversion rate for using grab point to slash down the price when payment is a bit down compare to redeem voucher in grab rewards.

For example,
24 points to slash rm0.15, that's 160 points to RM1.
To redeem voucher in grab rewards, normally 120 points to RM1. Sometimes when got offer, that even better. But the cons is there is limited voucher can be redeemed, depends on individual's usage pattern.

So using point to slash down price still a good option, cash back ard 12.5% (for platinum user)

What was the reward earning previously?

If it’s showing the wrong telco and you go ahead with the reload, it’ll fail after a few minutes and the credits will be refunded.

I tried it once. After the first failure, the telco was updated, took an hour or two. After that it was showing the correct one and I could reload. Someone here also tried but his telco didn’t get updated.

I just checked my all my Yoodo numbers in Grab. For the ones which have MNP to Digi, all showing Digi correctly except one still showing as Celcom. Port-in beginning of the year.
