QUOTE(Mazda9 @ Nov 11 2018, 10:30 PM) Anyone has issue with their hypptv? STB issue. Call TM to change the STB for you.I’m unable to view any channels on hypo tv the moment I select the hypp tv icon using remote. It’s just freeze and I can’t change to any channels. It’s just freeze. Anyone has experience this issue before? Is this the box issue? Call TM and they have reset the hypptv connection but issue still persists... could it be box problem? |

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Nov 11 2018, 12:45 PM) A - Yes it can support Gigabit Thanks dude,B - Doesn't matter what they give you it will still be crap. Get your own router instead. I suggest ASUS RT-AC86U but the ASUS router will cost me RM700+ this 500Mbps upgrade cost me no extra when they provide the new router (brand? model? yet to know) and if I extend the contract for 2 years. probably i shall stick to their router for a while first and see what happens. current old old router capable of 80-90Mbps. if new crappy router will give 300+Mbps, i shall probably be happy enough as it is still better than my old 50Mbps. Thanks again. |

QUOTE(sakuraboo @ Nov 11 2018, 06:41 PM) Downgraded today my old working router capable of 100Mbps.Hi everybody I successfully downgraded from 800mbps to 100mbps All you have to do is just call tm hotline then ask for downgrade. You can't do termination or downgrading in most tm points, and I still don't know which tm point you can downgrade at despite emailing tm. Most places that used to do termination couldn't do so after 1st July. My contract is over, so I'm lazy to pay extra for my broken stb and dect phone. And I wanna opt for the cheapest option without quota despite my modem and pc able to support 800mbps As for the experience: No difference in browsing Just downloading is obviously going to take a hit want to swap yours? PM me for nego. thanks. |

If can get for free much better.I’m unable to view any channels on hypo tv the moment I select the hypp tv icon using remote. It’s just freeze and I can’t change to any channels. It’s just freeze. Other option buy stb at garage sales n call 100 to unbind the mac addtess. |

Just got Turbo-ed from 10Mbps to 100Mbps about 1.5 week ago.
However everyday when I do the speedtest and download something, the speed is unstable. Sometimes it'll get you as high as 8MB/s (that's the highest peak I've seen so far, but it lasted for only few minutes), and sometimes as low as 2MB/s and I'm the only one using the Internet. So far the stable download speed I'm getting is between 2MB/s to 5MB/s. Is there a catch there? Like, is it not constantly 10MB/s but "UP" to 10MB/s? QUOTE(solarmystic @ Nov 11 2018, 09:43 PM) Hmm that is strange. I heard different from the CSR when I did mine in September. Plus this is what I see on my dashboard. What is the name of your plan now?![]() On the Unifi plan page also, it doesn't say that the 129 price is only for 24 months only also. Only that that it's a 24 month contract. I think the other CS person is probably misinformed. |

ISP always say "up to" and not definite. You getting around 80% is great to them already. If you call for CS or whatever, won't entertain.. Now if you consistently getting 20-50Mbps over several days and absolutely sure it's not an issue from within your environment.. Then yeah, can escalate. However everyday when I do the speedtest and download something, the speed is unstable. Though yeah voncrane kinda confirmed my suspicion, usually they always say it's "UP TO" 10Mbps, not constant so Afternoon and evening I get worse speed, about 3MB/s to 5MB/s. I had high hopes when I got the Turbo but ehh, I guess it's still quite a huge improvement since this is quite an old UNIFI package for years.
