Dude, tell your neighbors that many (like I) have been paying 139 for 30Mbps speeds (some Streamyx paying 129 for 10Mbps too) and TM has refused to even reduce the price or come upgrade infra at our places. I've been a TM customer for years. Where's my 25% discount or free speed upgrades? Don't have. So I suggest if they can't think properly and agree, that you grow a pair and cut them off asap before the time comes and they refuse to pay their share of the bills. Guess who TM will come after for repayments? Yeah.. You!

On another note.. TIME finally made good on their word and have completed installation at my location.. My current TM contract will be expiring next year January.. Love you guys, but I'll be jumping ship soon.. 1Gbps here I come.. rclxm9.gif

Yep, read about such compensation.. Pretty hush hush and so can't be relied upon per se, cuz no exact black & white..Currently pursuing that angle with the contact.. See how it goes. Will be going to TM tomorrow to give their 30 days termination notice.

Yes, do exactly that.. But first make sure to try and squeeze them HARD not to reset your contract.. Especially as you are still subbing to the same 100Mbps. Try your luck. Though ultimately, goal is to reduce to that RM129 price. So if die die they refuse, just sign that and walk..

That can happen sometimes. Do a cold boot up of all networking devices plus the STB.. If that still doesn't resolve it.. Just have to wait a day or 2 for it to resolve itself.

Nope.. No such thing. As long as standard installation.. If you put in additional requests like to run cables all over your house, beyond a certain preset distance, then yes.. Got extra charge. Else.. Nope.

That should be an upgrade and they got no choice but to let you.. Worst case, contract refresh.. But question is, is that plan available for your place? Most likely, they'll give new modem or you can request. I would.

When did you verify this? As I chatted with a CS few days ago to find out exact contract ending date and fella still insisted that must give at least 1 month notice..

The server you're downloaded from and timing also plays a part. ISP always say "up to" and not definite. You getting around 80% is great to them already. If you call for CS or whatever, won't entertain.. Now if you consistently getting 20-50Mbps over several days and absolutely sure it's not an issue from within your environment.. Then yeah, can escalate.

Silly reply.. Has the usual been done yet? Switch everything off, check all cables are intact and connected properly..wait at least 5 minutes, then power back on.. Wait and see if it reconnects.

Yeah, i notice the wifi led isn't lit... And it is possible that a storm can ruin electrical appliances. If you have a laptop, you could try connecting directly to the BTU and troubleshoot if that's not the culprit. Strong chances are, it's the router. Try to get TM's technician over. Should come with a working router to test.

That's easy.. Call up TM and ask for the account login details. They'll perform verification with account owner and continue with you. Done this with my FIL's account. They'll just speak to him first, then he authorizes you (over the phone) to continue. TM CS understands that with elderly folks, younger ones are more tech savvy.
