Nope, forever at RM 129 even after 2 years, perpetual promo RM30 discount given according to the UNIFI dashboard.
Yep, no downside to sign up for RM129/100Mbps plan. Especially if you come from a plan with an STB already provided. Only thing is that you're stuck on another 2 years contract.

I see. good to hear that.

The current rm129 100Mbps plan after 2 years, the price will be reverted back to rm159?
*
Yes, this is what I heard from the CS at TM Point just now when I did my downgrade from RM219 800mbps to RM129 100mbps. But I dun think that is an issue coz we can choose other package after 2 years or switch to other Telco.

The CS told me the downgrade will take 3-4 days to be effective. But in reality it takes less than 3-4 hours, can see how efficient Telekom really is. whistling.gif

EDIT: Just notice the big PINK advert on this page - RM99 for 100mbps, RM139 for 500mbps and RM199 for 1Gbps. I am quite optimistic TM will at least match this pricing 2 years later. biggrin.gif

Don't hold your breath. Time's business model is limited to condos/apartment/high rise buildings. I don't see any reason why TM needs to match Time's pricing because they monopolize the last mile connection for the other properties. They can always give reason that their investments in geographical infra is much higher than for Time.

Anyone from RYE 2017 got turboed yet?
*
quite a few.. but somehow a number of them were upgraded from 100Mbps to 500Mbps instead of 800Mbps
Price however reduced to RM159 because TM removed the redundant RM30 V/A/R TV pack (since they were already on Ultimate)

No need to hold breath. Time already made statement that their biz model is not limited to high-rise, it is the approval for them to penetrate the landed housing not being approved and Mr. Gobind is looking into it.

I think the Minister will open the broadband market for more players to join. That is a good reason for TM to wake up and improve their service and efficiency. Of course, only time will tell what will eventually happen 2 years from now. Let's hope for the best. icon_rolleyes.gif

Thanks for the enlightenment. Hopefully TM's monopoly on landed properties will end soon.

rm159 for 500Mbps, STD20, Ultimate Pack (tv box)? better deal than rm129 for 100Mbps, STD20, Ruby Pack (without tv box).

Hmm that is strange. I heard different from the CSR when I did mine in September. Plus this is what I see on my dashboard.

On the Unifi plan page also, it doesn't say that the 129 price is only for 24 months only also. Only that that it's a 24 month contract.

I think the other CS person is probably misinformed.

Just got Turbo-ed to 300mbps, but the perpetual discount added RM10. So, do I expect less RM10 from my current bill?

Anyone has additional discount after turbo? The bill amount you are paying before and after turbo is it the same?

Also, my service date become starting today, it shall not renew my contract, right?

Nope, TM increased the base price by RM10. The additional RM10 discount is meant to offset the base price increase.

Anyone has issue with their hypptv?

I’m unable to view any channels on hypo tv the moment I select the hypp tv icon using remote.
It’s just freeze and I can’t change to any channels. It’s just freeze. Anyone has experience this issue before? Is this the box issue? Call TM and they have reset the hypptv connection but issue still persists... could it be box problem?
