Does the time installer know how to set up mesh?
For non Time equipment, if they can/want to setup for you, there will be extra charge of RM80/hour, capped at RM300/day, following the rate card which the SI will show to you prior to any work start.

That means one cable need to pull to first floor for this to work?
If can, that will be perfect, but this cable pulling work is not includes in the above-mentioned charge, standard charge for UTP Network cable is RM10/m, again the SI will show you the rate card & get your consent prior to any work start.

Mesh works wirelessly. But you can connect cable for better speed and latency tho.

TIME installer will charge extra service fee if you want them to set up your own router.

Should be very straightforward for TIME.
Contact TIME support for bridge mode.
Get PPPoE credentials in TIME selfcare
Plug WAN of own router into LAN1 of TIME Huawei unit.
Set up PPPoE in ur own router, no need for VLAN.

There are plenty of guides online. And most consumers router would have a step by step process when setting up.

It's pretty easy to setup... for sure you can get it done by yourself...Eg. common brand like TpLink Mesh has a Deco app to guide you step by step to setup your mesh routers.

Hi, which router are you using now ?
If you cant find your wifi name, and you notice there is a wifi by the name of BlazingSpeedXXX with the strongest signal, that is the one.
This is a common bug of Time's older routers, they will be auto reset.

same here, have to fire up a VPN to be able to watch

161.142.152.X

Actually for me, live streams are fine, however attempting to watch past streams/VODs are endlessly loading/extremely chopppy, like 1 second every 10 seconds

Browser Logs shows connection to video-edge-c5d619.pdx01.abs.hls.ttvnw.net

PingPlotter shows some serious packet loss it seems

Same, been really bad starting Thursday evening. Right now I'm in 100.65.2.x range after rebooting yesterday thinking its my router. Even the vod loading very slowly.

AFAIK, In the past month until to date, NTT often having congestion during night time especially towards HK,JP,USA (ping above 300-400ms)

But AFAIK there is no submarine network cable broken in between HK and JP

Don't blame NTT, blame the Telco.

I am using another ISP that's using NTT, heck, even my transit provider in SG that's using NTT is not affected.

Wonder why? NTT is charging based on traffic and the ISP is not willing to pay for more hence, more traffic shaping.

Absolutely agree ...I vouch for this ...
since yesterday complaints of damn slow streaming from numerous customers.. even happened to older iptv customers...the speed drops down to less than 5Mbps, and severe pixelation happens.... after complained to CS, the speed back to 70% normal.

Is NTT problem, yes but not all affecting on this depend which NTT core router the ISP or provider that linked, i tested my own HK and SGP server both having issue on NTT (ingress and egress using NTT) during night time.

The TIME calling app has been discontinued. If you want to call, u need to buy a DECT phone and connect it to the ONT.
