It seems TIME will be sunsetting Voice app soon. Now we can only use the POTS port in ONU for that. Which means we will not be able to use our own SIP phone for that.

If you have your soft phone and you know the SIP credentials, you still can configure it into your soft phone.

I got 6 months off on a 24 months contract renewal.

I would assume the costs might be too high and the usage of the app isn't enough to justify continuing to pay for it

but nowadays who still use fixed line seriously?  somemore time voice does not give any free calls...
one can easily use his unlimited voice calls from his mobile to call rite?

anyone, one can still connect physical dect phone to the modem router to use the fixed line.

If you run a small business and somehow need a landline phone number that you somehow can answer everywhere then TIME Voice is one of the most convenient and cheapest solution in the market.

if that's the case, it makes sense then. 

but land line can also do call forwarding i think.

Not as convenient as just downloading an app that works literally everywhere in the world with zero roaming charges 

I requested CS for the change to Bridge mode via Live Chat. They did it very quickly and asked me to reboot the TIME router. However, the new router failed to setup and when I login to TIME router, I could still see WAN Mode is "Route WAN" instead of "Bridge WAN" and the Wifi SSID was also left enabled... I contacted CS again and asked them to verify whether it has been changed to Bridge mode, they confirmed it has been changed and reminded me to plug into LAN 1 of the TIME router. I screenshot the WAN Mode and asked why it is not showing "Bridge WAN". After a while, they just asked me to leave contact number for them to call back instead...

In the end, I came across this post https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...#entry110590642 and followed the instructions there only then managed to setup bridge mode successfully. Credits to the member for giving such details instruction    Definitely more helpful than TIME CS...
