It's a pretty decent tri-band wifi6e dual-wan router...we tested it on 3-storeys bungalow.. performance tho not on really high side, but it's by far above average.

Nope
It's an AX80.
[attachmentid=11496212]

The WiFi connection seems better than stock TIME Modem WiFi Router..
Previously having IPv6 difficulty,
But now seems all okay already.

You guys think this router is enough to cover whole 1001sf condo house or not? 🤔

Actually I was using TIME mesh in every bedroom but the speed is just 30-80Mbps in every bedroom , if at living room beside the main router can get full speed 500Mbps

What's the layout of your condo?

Gonna be harder if it's those with long corridor rectangular shape.

Should be fine for those more squarish.

Comparing the bgp result from Singtel to the 2 IP range. Kinda explain the performance differences as it is routed through either NTT or TATA instead of a direct route.

LOL
I'm in 1001sf condo too
Definitely the WiFi performance greatly improved when I in bedrooms and toilets leh ..
I initially have plan to install the WiFi extender in 2nd bed room,
But seems the connection better than the TIME Mesh set-up now,
So probably wait awhile and see how things goes..

Yes, provided you place it somewhere in the center of your house & avoiding placing it too close to the wall.

My 202.185.208.xx after midnight to Singtel server on Speed test gave Idle ping 11ms, 0.0% packets loss, UL535Mbps 320ms and DL390M 126ms. Yes I still have big lag and issues accessing EU content.

This submarine cable problem is still causing a massive routing issue. Tonight so many EU sites are unusable. How can't TIME use a different route to provide a relief?

Try refresh your PPPOE wan IP, certain IP range gateway have better routing

Another option is VPN Policy-Based Routing, just get a MY/SG VPS and use any type of Wireguard

Bandwidth is expensive and TIME do not provide any SLA for international routing.

I did (need to soft reset the Huawei router) and unfortunately I always get IP addresses from 202.185.... and once a 192.228... that all have the same bad routing at night. 😭
However with the same IP in the morning everything is good and fast, which just highlights that the narrow band allocated is super congested at night.

Not sure at this point. In the news, Indonesia doesn’t allow other ships to be in their water to repair SEAMEWE-5.

As for AAE-1,

Yeah guess sooner or later time will go into landed but in order to cover enough for most landed users to switch, it will likely to take long long time.

Probably my last 1Gbps speedtest on TIME.

Well, it was fun while it lasts. Credits to jjj2 as probably the best TIME agent/installer around.
