VCC = Virtual Credit card. Yes legal but not very popular anymore with the introduction of Mastercard SecureCode and VISA equivalent. VCC was used to limit internet fraud back then.

when i use my PB debit card to purchase stuffs from play-asia, it doesn't require me to enter my pin. can i make it so that pin is required for every purchase online?

pin is ur password.which means can only use it when u make transaction at atm teller....
usually online shopping need only the security code at the back of ur card....

It depends on the website itself. If the website does not use 3D secure, you will not be prompted for pin number. If a website use 3D secure, it will have MasterCard SecureCode / Verified By Visa logo on the website.

Public Bank introducing new debit card PB Day2day Debit Card. Seem like they want to replace their ATM card with this VISA debit Card.

They offer 1% rebate on grocery & petrol until year end.

Looks very much like a lifestyle card (based on the card design). The annual fee is a bit high though at RM12/pa.

Is this the official replacement for Public Bank's debit card?

This Day2Day debit card accept online shopping.
Some more annual fees is cheaper than Visa Electron.

Saadiq card petrol promotion is going to end by this month,

Anyother other similiar card to introduce.....??

Because saadiq card give 7% rebate on all petrol expenses + 5% on major hypermarket..

The one closest will be SCB Just One Card. 5% on Friday & 2% on other day on all transaction made with credit card. or else Alliance bank premium debit card 2% on all transaction but need to be Alliance bank priority member to get that.

no need face to face ( as im overseas now )
min charge as i just wanna use for paypal
