Everytime I book genting using PB Visa Electron.

Check whether you have enrolled for 'Verified By Visa' for your Visa Electron or not. If you haven't enrolled it, you will fail in all internet transaction. You must enroll by going to public bank website and click on 'Verified By Visa' logo to enroll.

I just went into RHB bank website and realized that RHB bank offer a new debit VISA card called 'Tesco-RHB Debit Card'. You can refer to http://www.rhbbank.com.my/personal/deposit...debit-card.shtm .

Have anyone used this card? If yes, can you share your experiences? Can it be used online?

Why you people care for the design? The most important things are it can be inserted into the card terminal or not, and the features of the card, not the design.

If the design of a credit/debit card is beautiful but it is missing the wanted features, then it is useless.

If you people can use the card anywhere then it is already good enough.

Please remember that you are just choosing the card, not choosing the shirt.

Does the design of the card bring any benefits to you? Or, does the design bring extra features to the card?

You are choosing the card, not choosing the car. ok? Even if a car look very beautiful, but if no safety features, then considered useless. The car's safety features should be the more important than the design.

The first thing Maybank should do is to IMMEDIATELY activate the online transaction of their Debit Visa card.

Not using any RHB cards yet.

The cash connect is a MasterCard right? Have you applied for "MasterCard SecureCode"?

My mom using PB Visa Electron card. The first year is waived. She had been rewarded RM200 because of frequently use (online + retail). That money had been automatically credited to her card account.

My mother use the card for almost any payment, except for the retail shop which does not have card terminal. She already using PBVE since the the launch of this card. Used it for Malaysia Airlines ticket online, hotel reservation online, paying TM bills (RM xxx per month including streamyx) online, Maxis Bill online, Insurance fees, retail purchases, and even my school fees (RMxxxx per semester).

But, please don't think that we are rich because of spend so much money. If you think we are rich, I'm sorry to tell you that what you think is wrong.

Would you mind to tell us that you applied your Discover Card from which bank or which issuer?

My mom use PB Visa Electron to pay for screening in hospital.

Good that the hospital accept the card.

Kuching Specialist Hospital, a private hospital in Sarawak. My mom use her PB Visa Electron to pay for the screening fees.

Have you enrolled Verified By Visa? If no, you can't do any online transaction, including paypal. Verified By Visa can be enrolled through Public Bank website.

Added on April 1, 2009, 9:25 pmYou can go to any Public Bank branch, apply for internet banking for your Visa Electron card. Then, after a few hours, you can check your balance online.

Paying with any VISA or MasterCard Credit/Debit card may take up to two days or more before the Bank send the payment to the merchant. This also including internet transaction. So, the amount that you paid will only appeared in your transaction history after the bank send the payment to the merchant. After you login to public bank internet banking, click on 'Account Inquiry, then click on 'Credit/Debit card' under balance inquiry, then select your card number, then click on details. Then, you will see authorised charges, which is the amount of charges haven't been send to the merchant. In the same page, 'Available Balance' is the balance you can use to perform other transactions, it is calculated by your current balances - the authorised charges..

Online purchase is possible, but your debit card must be a Visa/MasterCard and your bank must allow it to be used for online purchase. I used Debit card for purchasing Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia flight online, pay telekom bills through TM online, paypal, and more.

Ask eon bank for this matter.

It depends on the website itself. If the website does not use 3D secure, you will not be prompted for pin number. If a website use 3D secure, it will have MasterCard SecureCode / Verified By Visa logo on the website.

Do your nexg mean AMBank's nexg prepaid MasterCard? If yes, although I never try this card, but I can tell you that according to AMbank website at http://www.ambg.com.my/retail.asp?sc=retai...etail_cards_faq, the maximum spending is limited to RM 2,000 per transaction. So, if you are going to purchase something that cost you more than RM2,000, don't use this.

People under 18 can apply for any public bank debit card..

My mom had successfully paid the TM bill online through www.tmonline.com.my and TM offices by using Visa Electron Debit Cards for several times already.
