Retail transactions exclude casino and petrol transactions, cash advances, balance transfer, government-related payment and utility bills payment via www.pbebank.com, PB Telebanking and ATM.
As written in their website and above, petrol transactions do not qualify for the 0.5% cash rebate. But then, if you have their Day2Day VISA Debit card, you can use it to pay for fuel and the current cash rebate is 1%. After December the cash rebate for fuel and groceries shopping will be 0.8%.QUOTE(lostasylum @ Oct 23 2009, 04:20 PM)
hey guys... finally got my PB VISA Electron Debit Card.... but still can't use yet cause the PIN hasn't arrived... .
I used to be a PBVE cardholder and if my memory serves me correctly, you can use the card right away, even if you haven't got the PIN number. You can swipe it at any shops displaying the VISA logo as well as making payments online. Certain online websites will need you to register for Verified by VISA before you can proceed to make a payment, so remember to register for Verified by VISA in Public Bank first.
