4K half bake, not full potential? Appreciate if you could elaborate this point further?

Cuz in my opinion, the 4K UHD quality on Astro is pretty good though...
I don't see obvious video compression artifacts on Astro UHD channel and UHD content via VOD streaming though.

To me as long I don't see obvious video compression artifacts on large screen TVs (55 inch and above) and especially during fast motion scenes, then it is considered as excellent or outstanding picture quality to me, in my own definition lah.

Yeah... What I still see right now is, video compression artifacts is indeed obvious during fast motion scenes and low light scenes, especially all movies and sports HD channels.

Anybody ever experienced a sudden Wifi disconnection on Ultra box & have to re-enter wifi passwd again?

it's like the box just suddenly forgets my wifi network (2.4 Ghz only). Not likely our router as we have many wireless devices at home & none of 'em had this issue.

Hmm no for me...
Try Restore Factory Settings, and then enter the WiFi password as usual, and observe if such issue occur again.

Every time you changed (or disrupt) 2.4GHz > 5GHz must re-enter password.
I write this many months ago.
Seems no possibility to save pass.

PVR box also same. It only remembers the credentials for 1 WiFi network only. It doesn't remember credentials from multiple WiFi networks with different SSIDs, like our phones and computers.

I only have one SSID (2.4ghz), that's why it's so strange - this is a 2 week old box ...am keeping an eye out for recurrence. If happens again, will try restore factory settings.

As i was navigating the settings UI to re-enter wifi pw, the GUI was sluggish & even hung for few mins! Read from prev posts some of u had this issue, but it's so sad Astro hasn't fixed these bugs.

Anyway, my management replied that my place is centralised dish with DCSS. So, Ultra Box is coming...

Any disconnection,factory reset....must type again.

Yes. PVR/Ulti/Ultra Box software only remembers the credentials for 1 WiFi network only.
If you connect to other WiFi network (different SSID), it will automatically forget the previous one.
I find it kinda foolish also. Don't ask me why. Ask the astro software engineers instead.

Sluggish UI? To me, it's a known issue since 2018.
What Astro did was, reduce the lag, rather than eliminate/fix the lag issue altogether, even till today. You'll just have to get used to it, cuz Astro software guys are expecting consumers like us to be more "grateful" and "thankful" instead.

If you experience software hang, just restart the box. Unplug the power adapter, wait a few seconds, plug it back in.

hi...anyone here know how to set channel reminder on ultrabox like on byond box...or ultrabox dont have this features yet

Currently, Ultra Box didn't have this feature yet.

Astro Citra Live TV is now available on Astro GO.

Just to clarify, do you mean setting a reminder for a future program in a channel is it?
