No more Korean, Horror and Indonesian Favourites
Since the channels of these addons already included in Astro One's lowest pack (which is Entertainment Pack), hence these addons don't exist in Astro One's world anymore.
If you're not on any Astro One packs, and being separately charged for it (because you subscribed them long time ago), then you will continue to pay for it even though now you can enjoy all those channels for free, until you call customer service and tell them to remove it.

No more Disney+ Hotstar Basic 3 months
Now can only subscribe on a monthly basis, no more 3 months options.
If you're subscribed to it, and being charged for it, you will continue to pay for it.

24 months contract only; no such thing as auto contract renewal
After the initial 24 months contract period ends, you will no longer have contract, just like how a "24 months contract" rule works.
No more "auto contract renewal" nonsense. Those are history already.

Epic Pack includes 1 Multiroom Smart TV by default
If you go for on Epic Pack, you don't need to add on Multiroom (Smart TV) separately anymore, as it is included by default.

I notice astro put ads on ONE HD channel.
Just now watching there is susu tin, kfc, etc ads & after that drama continue.

If ONE HD channel take ads break.
There is some popup like Now Back( drama title).
Well.....

Based on how many Measat ku band transponders they own now, yes they can.
But we did not get any news/info whether is Astro currently conducting internal/private testing on UHD broadcast or not...

But as for Measat satellite company, that one no need to say... They've been broadcasting/providing UHD channels on their Measat 3/3a C band satellite since few years ago.
Technically, if Measat can, why Astro can't? It's just a matter that when they want to offer UHD services to customers only... Time will tell.

Astro will slot in ads to almost every channels, after removing irrelevant ads or ads that does not benefit Astro from the original channel source. So it's not just One HD.
That is why Astro delay 3-5 mins from original channel feed. Some even 10 mins. 2 mins for news channel.

e.g. Programme promo/advertisement said that the programme will starts at 9.00pm, but the programme starts at 9.05pm on Astro (according to EPG), or 9.03pm on some SD channels. Now you know why.

Only channels don't have ads is the "premium" one..

Majority 60% ads for the rest of channels.
100% ads for Go Shop

Actually those movie channel also no break.. U watch the movie uninterrupted...
After movie finish only have ads 😎

But the channels is from content providers... Astro just carry them only, unless u talking about those in house channels.. Then yeah, same situation too...

Well it kinda hard..
Because of monopoly...
Soon it would change.. As rival Ansa broadcast would coming soon 💪

Can they just launch Nat Geo Wild HD or Gem channel.
Atleast, has some variety content.

Nowadays, astro more looking to get more money instead entertain their customer....
