350W? Acbel? isk... too low, i even throw away the Acbel at the first place , IMO, a 500W should be ok, and 550W~600W is minimum for today's computing (just my personal preference), and forget those CM, Acbel, or any super-capalang brand (Icute, PowerLogic, Sunshine)... off topic already

what? ... 350w not enough dat mean my rig not run optimum performance ... it run smooth with all kind of game, apps or benchmark program

i have the acbel e3 350w too but i guess it doesn't have enuf juice to power ur gc... best bet, change it to something better... u dun have to buy those hyper expensive psu, someone mentioned ss560w for rm320??? or check in garage sales, ther is enhance 460w for rm100+... the acbel 350 is ok but i use it with e6300 (oc a bit), 4 hdd, 7300gs, 2 odd n the psu start not to performing well... changing it to any 450w psu solved my problem... try removing all the old gpu drivers n reinstall the forceware... good luck...

better remove display driver in the safemode.. maybe conflict..

nope i used those tape cleaner. isopropyl alcohol. dunnoe how % pure this is

i would like to ask that, if i'm using tape cleaner to clean my proc IHS, will it bring any damage to the processor?

IMO, it shouldn't give any problem i guess.

tape cleaner content is mosly isoproply alcohol..

thus shouldnt be an issue....


fyi... alcohol is best use to clean metal surface and its variation (not glass,acrylic, plastic)

well i used to use this tape alcohol, until nothing happen, clean (maybe not same as real thermal compound cleaner), but for me, it's acceptable

CM , ACbel no good ?? Their Price also not low la...

The price not low because most mainstream users doesn't even bother to read articles about PSU's.

I'm with sniper, if i were to get CM or Acbel for free [lets say a prize from a competition] i'll just sell it back at half price.
It's crap i tell you, if no one wants to buy it, i'll just use it to run my watercooling kit and some fans.

Don't put in your mind that expensive PSU's are good, but don't put in your mind that cheap psu are good either.

You just have to know which one to choose.
To avoid from being fooled by the shop or by the product itself, read up some articles.

Added on August 15, 2007, 12:34 amShouldnt damage. It will evaporate off anyway. I soaked the 8600gt core in isopropyl, so that the TIM would be easier to scrap off. And the card is still working fine now.

the GDEX packaging??? there isnt any...

i bought the card from karom...and hes the one who put the card into the big box (which happens to be a mineral water carton) and added in the styrofoam himself. so it was karom that put the extra effort into the packaging..not GDEX (recommended seller by the way )

as for results... can go to the 3D Mark database in OC United. VT-Ten has almost the same rig as mine except that hes using XFX 8800GTS 320MB XXX Edition cards for SLI.

my results will have to wait...superbly busy right now...no time to setup...now oso still in office

i hate massive amounts of work with tight deadlines...........
