QUOTE(tanghm @ Jul 25 2007, 09:27 AM) 1 slot away for me, right next to it is not advised as gap for airflow is too small there. The air where the vent holes are is very hot, so adding a vga pci exhaust fan does the perfect job to push the hot air out of the case, which it did a 13'C drop for my case. Can show a pic of it ?I install my PCI Vizo Propeller (slot in the last PCI slot) at the back of my Galaxy 8500 GE, then I think I install it upside down already... (but, no choice due to design of my Motherboard Biostar Geforce 6100 AM2) So, it blow air toward graphic card , PCI Propeller fan towards graphic card fan !! The graphic card temperature reduce by 2C . (Note : Propeller Dual Fan one is intake, one is blow air out.. ,but when I install it in a way that the Propeller blow air towards the grahic card, is this correct?) ANy solution ? QUOTE(Nemesis181188 @ Aug 12 2007, 11:33 PM) I think it depends on the processor also leh.Cause my 7600GT Extreme version should be higher then all those 7600gt but it seems my processor is bottlenecking the performance and getting about a few hundred points less. But, mine is 4000 points behind !! QUOTE(sHawTY @ Aug 12 2007, 11:39 PM) But, my 8500 is OC edition....And Add RM 50-100 already can get 8600, sad... Shawty, so do u mean my 8500 GE is not underperformed? this is their normal range.? But, I see somewhere people HERE 8500 score 5000+ in 3D Mark06, but I try to dind it again, can not find,.. WOmnder where is it ?? |

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Aug 13 2007, 12:01 AM) OC or no OC, that's not the main point. My 8500 more expensive than 7300 ... The main point is what the card offers. 8600 series offers more pipelines, better graphics technology and has some other stuff that i don't have time to explain in here. How in the world you think an 8500 can be at the same level of 8600? Offcourse it can't. Your card is not underpowered, it is utilized perfectly, however, it can't go at the same level of 8600. About the 5000 points in 3Dmark, that one, he did some Vmod, yes the benchmark can go nearly at 8600 series, but results in benchmark doesn't mean you will get the same performance in gaming. All i can say is the 8500 is a very low end card, it can't even fight with 7300, to me, 8500 is not worth the buying at all. |

QUOTE(akachester @ Aug 13 2007, 12:08 PM) Well, yea, during that time, many people would recommend the 8500GT. This is because both cards are having roughly the same price and yet, the 8500GT is offering an advantage in being DX10 capable. Even i would recommend the 8500GT. Performance wise, i think the 8500GT is slightly better than the 7300GT. But not sure how OCable are they. 7300GT are solid overclockers and may even surpass the 8500GT when OCed.. What are the score for 7300GT in 3D MARk 05 & 06 ? |

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Aug 15 2007, 12:13 AM) The price not low because most mainstream users doesn't even bother to read articles about PSU's. My place only got Enermax, CM, Acbel, ICute ,Power Logic ,ATRIX, PSUI'm with sniper, if i were to get CM or Acbel for free [lets say a prize from a competition] i'll just sell it back at half price. It's crap i tell you, if no one wants to buy it, i'll just use it to run my watercooling kit and some fans. To power up my system? HELL NO! :crappy: Don't put in your mind that expensive PSU's are good, but don't put in your mind that cheap psu are good either. You just have to know which one to choose. To avoid from being fooled by the shop or by the product itself, read up some articles. Not reviews, read articles. Want more information about PSU's, go to the link below and read every single articles i've posted in the link below: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/450882 |

And my Acbel PSU is 1.5 month old only, got LED color, I really like the look !! Any GOOD Graphic card can recommend for PSU 450W? (not going to change PSU la) Budget : RM900-1200 for the card.... QUOTE(iZuDeeN @ Aug 18 2007, 12:36 AM) if you have the dough just buy it... no need to give reasons... Ya ya, I got PM you before !!as i said previously, im using msi 8800gts oc with acbel i power 450watt.. furthermore, i oc-ing the proc and futher oc the gfx card.....till now no prob even powering 2 sata + 1 dvd writer + 6 fans... But, u are some of the exceptonal one .... 99% forumer here (SEE hardware Q&A) claim that 8800 GTS should be at least using 500W Real Power.... (SS 560W is the min, that s what they said) One of the member he claim that using CM real Power 460 W, can't power up 8800. Anyway I will wait for 9 series ehich consume less power than 8800.... This is more safer !! (U know I am freak, graphic card > 60C, open so many topics that is me.... Better to be safe This post has been edited by Irresistible: Aug 18 2007, 01:48 AM |
