8500gt if ddr2 worst but i think ddr3 quite ok for budget gc.. even my fren 7300gt 128mb ddr3 can pawn my boss 8500gt ddr2 256mb.. from vista benchie.. weird.. haha..

Rig specs is AMD X2 3600+ , mobo Biostar Tforce7050-M2, 2GB DDR2 667 RAM....

Try go to thundermatch, they may lower the price but not too much, how bout u go around LYP or IMBI and search for the best price.

Arlo, i said earlier bought many graphic cards lar, so offcourse from many brands.
And none of them has been rejected while RMA after changing heatsink fan and changing thermal paste.

If you wanna change to 3rd party HSF, sure can, just remember when you wanna RMA, put back the original HSF lah, then send it back to the shop where you bought it.
Put original HSF back on, then the warranty goes on like normal.

Why you guys are so scared of it?
It's not like they have the time to check 100% of the card either you did something to it.
