But topping up is leceh. Cannot use credit card or debit card to top up. It's either buy top up from 7-11 or top up via online banking.

Last month Wechat pay was need USD99 per year, now they removed this requirement.

Hi guys, after having the wallet feature in my wechat, I asked a acquaintance of mine who lives in China to send me a red packet (in Yuan) but right after I press OPEN, it leads me to the registration of bank account from banks operating in China.

Is there any way I could received the red packet (in Yuan) with local wechat account?

I am curious on how to become a Wechat pay merchant and start to accept Wechat payments. And another questions, can I use my Malaysia Wallet to pay to a China Merchant?

Unfortunately, you can't. RMB to RMB, MYR to MYR.

Link your Hong Leong Bank debit card to your WeChat Wallet and stay tuned for exciting merchant offers!
On your WeChat, simply Tap on ‘Me’ > tap ‘Wallet’ > tap ‘Bank Cards’ > enter your debit card details.
