Seems like you're still on China Wallet, try logout and re-login, you might see a 'Wallet' appear in your 'Me' section.

If nothing changes, wait for their official launch on 11th June.

It is free for Merchant Account. Official account and Merchant account is different

Don't even bother to top up when you still can't use it anywhere, wait until they make an official announcement, if that ever happens.

Sigh...extremely disappointed with their local team, seems like Boost and Favepay is the way to go for e wallet now.

Maybe someone should also open a dedicated discussion thread for them as well, to encourage people adopt the e wallet solution.

I don't know lol, I thought e wallet is related to mobile phones so I chose to open it here.

Initial impression doesn't seem to be that good though, many are already complaining about it on Play Store.

I was thinking of giving it a try, until I saw the latest ratings on Play Store.

So I went and try Favepay instead as my second e wallet with Boost being my main one, loving them so far!

Last month Wechat pay was need USD99 per year, now they removed this requirement.

Still have users doesnt have the region select enabled ? this wechat really slow. Even their angpow is not enabled to all wallet users.

My friend just sent me a RMB red packet, after I entered my credit card and linked it, it activated my China Wallet. I can now switch between Malaysia and China wallet through the "Select Region Wallet" setting.

So if anyone wants to get the China Wallet, you may do the same as me.

Just to throw out an idea about what could possibly be the reason of you not being able to get MY wallet. It is stated that Wechat pay MY is for WeChat Malaysia users only. Is there by any chance that your account has been treated as China account?
