I really like jobs that their salaries are depending on certification or exams taken. Pass a few exam can get a lot of increment already.

On the other hand, software field not really much. Boss always says "LEL software? You can always Google" bangwall.gif

Well deserved pay. Heard from my fellow actuary friends those exams are no easy stuff. They put lots of dedication, blood and sweat into it and some could barely pass it.

Truly a profession for the elites

The exam is excruciating indeed.
After working will spend at least one hour to study at home, weekend allocate at least 8 hours on studying for exams since I joined the industry. So life is basically work and exam with little social life. To make it worse, I am not a smart person and failed the same exam a few times.

Imagine i am close to 30 already but still need to take exam. Many people quit taking exam once they have kids... it is very tiring.

I agree that exam can be even stressful than our daily job. I just prefer certifications because they are straight forward enough to determine one's skill and boost one's career. You pass? Get promoted and get increment. You failed? or you don't bother to take those exams? You get the annual 2% increment and queue for the promotion when time comes.

You totally deserve the salary you got now and the position. Hard work always pays.

This is very good offer . At your age and qualification, reasonable range is 3300 to 3500.

Job Title : Control Analyst
Job Description : Quality Control / Assurance + Compliance role
Age : 27
Years spent in company : 1st month
Company : Telemarketing arm of a foreign bank
Industry : Telemarketing Sales
Employment Level : Senior Executive
Experience before joining : 2.5 years accounting role and 2.5 years in project finance/credit analysis
Highest paper qualification/ education background : Bachelor's Degree
Salary : RM 4,800, basically only RM100 increased salary from previous job due to a lack of experience
Bonus : 15% of annual income, so slight below 2 months

Now my job is basically easy and just become a corporate police performing desk / email checks etc, nothing to learn at all. Trying to get into banking credit analytics, but its not easy. Hoping to do internal transfer in the future. While I'm wasting my time at this job, many of my peers are leaving me in the dust bye.gif

I rejected their offer 3 times when the COO personally invite me to his room and request me to stay. I hope he did not get pissed of with me after that incident which make me a bit worry to return there. How bad is it returning to your former company? Anyone have experience here? Hope you guys can give me a professional advice.

Ouch. Hahah, there's many companies out there. U sure u wanna go back then? They might give u hard time, might not.

Put the face away, man up and try asking. But be aware if u get accepted, might give u some hard time

If not, then it's the best case
