If you ever go back, don't ever think about getting any new offer outside in the future. Why? Because HR will definitely ask you why you work only 3mths in new company before jumping back to your previous company. And you will have to answer the second question from them which is "How can we be sure that you will not do the same thing again after we hired you?"

I work there for 10 years and most probably they will accept me provided there is a vacancy. If they already hire other ppl then sorry lor console.gif console.gif
I'm also have a good relationship with the GM and all manager except the COO which I guess must be quite pissed off with me after I reject his offer. Even worst, he is the decision maker in recruitment. bangwall.gif bangwall.gif

Very simple la bro. Don't apply for other job then you won't get new offer from other company. Unless other company look up for my profile at Jobstreet and give me resistible offer.

The reason I want to return to my previous company is not because of unpleasant working experience. It is due to personal/family reason which required me to return back there. Since it is just a small town, there is not many option of company to work with. Hence, one of my option is to return back to my former company. I don't find that this will affect any future offer from other company since the reason is acceptable and reasonable from my point of view as long as I can explain why I work for only 3 month here to any potential future employer.

which salary would you take monthly, 22k MYR to 10k SGD  ? assuming benefits and career aspiration are the same.
*
of coz 22k/mth instead, at least you are at your home country tho SGD is tempting after conversion. Still, you may need to sacrifice what you already have here. Mind to share more info? Curious to know your role etc

To be fair in china pay is quite good, but working environment is damn stress.

i've known a distant friend who worked on a MOBA for mobile app in China, OT everyday and every weekend, but after 2 years they get a REALLY huge bonus (Enough to make him buy a mid end condo here in Penang).

I for sure can't handle the stress...

Yeah Japan, S.Korea & China is infamous for their obnoxiously long working hours, but as far as I know the local PRC white collar workers in first tier city are getting paid pretty average.

The average white collar worker in Beijing is pulling in 12.6k CNY a month (7.6k MYR), Shanghai about 11.5k CNY (7k MYR) and about 8k CNY for Guangzhou (4.8k MYR), latest news from tencent yesterday.

Considering their property price (Shanghai apartment averages 75K CNY per square meter), a 100 square meter (1076.4 sq ft) apartment will cost 4.5mil MYR. And that price will be dwarfed by Shenzhen average property price of 88k CNY per square meter.

Hence, most younger generations will find property largely unaffordable in China even if they're pulling in a handsome salary. But the truth is the average PRC white collar worker earning is still a far cry from being able to wrestle the ever increasing cost of living.

When I was young, all the adults told us, "go become doctor lah, go become engineer lah, go become lawyer lah, earn big big one."

Then now all of my friends doing these fields (including me), earning 2.5k to 3.0k when graduated. lol what a big lie told by adults since 18years ago

What lie? You expect to earn 30k per month 2 years after graduated for these profession?

I know a doctor who earn 50k per mth, engineer who bagged USD20k per mth, lawyer who get RM100k per mth. They dont earn this amount by just graduating. They start from the lowest position and climb a few steps before earning this much.

Edit: Also it apply to those who are working and improving themselves. Not just graduated, dapat kerja then daydream without efforts and wait for 50k to fall down from sky. When it doesnt blame others and said got lied to.
