Meanwhile i am still paying RM149 ex GST for 10mbps. But it comes with unlimited land line calls. They gave me Ruby pack after the free upgrade registration period though.
Might want to change to the new RM139 30 mbps package if the phone deals is reasonable. Because RM10 saved every month if no calls was made. Thats RM120 per year. |

TM is doing what Maxis did last year, giving different rates and packages to different selected customers on the postpaid side.
Anyway, unlike mobile plans, we don't have other alternatives for fixed broadband lol. So there won't be any kind of #portout fiasco on TM the likes that we saw on Maxis last year |

i think those who just signed up for the rm179 package, better cancel the contract and pay RM500 penalty. Then subscribe to this new rm139 (if u dont mind to downgrade your speed from 50mb to 30mb)..

TM upgrade me to 8.0M (Stx Blockbuster combo 8.0M) in Feb 2017. Now when I log into my Streamyx account, it say that Service Start Date: 17 Feb 2017 Warranty: 12 months. Does this mean that TM has extended my contract by 12 months after the upgrade even though my Streamyx 4.0M contract has ended? Is my contract now expire only in 17 Feb 2018? Thank you. |

Weird part is the staff told me should not have the 600mins free call per month, but when i checked my profile at unifi.com.my, it still retained the 600min free calls and now package shown as Unifi 30Mbps Bonanza Campaign

Finally, ended 2 years miserable turtle speed with high price TM Unifi yesterday - 50Mbps @ RM189.
Just installed Time Fibre 100Mbps @ RM149 only, speedtest dl/ul average 86~87Mbps. Awesome!! |

- Signed up Unifi 30mbps mid 2017 for monthly RM179 - Manage to retain old land line with RM1 monthly rental - 2 years contract - Not eligible for 30mbps to 50mbps upgrade Now, with this Bonanza promo, I do feel strongly that TM is treating existing customers unfairly. What can i do? - pay RM500 penalty and sign up for 30mbps at RM139 monthly? - any successful example of switching from existing package (RM179) to Bonanza promo rate (RM139)? * saw a forumer mentioned that TM allowed downgrading from 30mbps to 10mbps, wth! Referring to the recent incident, I was made aware there is a promotion on new Unifi Lite RM99 package slashed from the normal price of RM129 on October 20th. Immediately, I CALLED the customer service to CONFIRM and VERIFY such promotion on Friday evening before I proceed to make such booking at Quill City Mall the next day as it is the only TM Point opened on weekend. The customer service agent on the other end CONFIRMED thus advising me to register at the nearest TM Point, which was exactly my intention in the first place. On Saturday 21 October, I went to TM Point Quill City Mall just to waste my Saturday morning queuing for nothing as such promotion was keep on hold without official reason by TM. What? IT WAS CONFIRMED AS OF FRIDAY EVENING. I SPOKE WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE CONVERSATION WAS RECORDED. HOW CAN YOU DID THIS TO ME? It was Saturday, couple of hours were wasted to drive back and forth from Serdang to Inner KL, not including the parking ticket and petrol wasted? Son of a gun! Nevertheless, with my long face, I didn’t argue with the TM Point as they were merely doing their doing. Instead of calling the customer service via phone, I chat with them via IT Chat, to ensure I have a written confirmation on such promotion. Indeed, the promotion is valid after I CONFIRMED with them. (I still have the chat history, copy and paste into my computer). Next, I took half day from my workplace at Petaling Jaya and went to TM Point Cyberjaya, only to find out the promotion was put on hold for “technical reason”. Come on TM! Make up your mind la! I took half day, wasted petrol again to find out TM bluntly conned me once again. Less than a month, not one but two conned promotion by TM after both were CONFIRMED by Customer Service! What a joke! To think such monopoly company is able to play tricks for Malaysian customers. Pissed off, feeling outrageous and being conned twice making me wonder how many were duped into such promotion? It cannot be me alone. If I wasted hundreds of ringgit and couple of hours, there must be folks who are losing more money and time aside me. I just signed up for 30mbps for Rm139 from 10Mbps costing Rm149. As I demanded new router, wifi and cordless phone, the customer service gives me a new phone line. But no problem as only my parents call me to date.. hee hee hee

Is the RM 139 going to be permanent? The RRP is RM 199. Later 6 months down the road, they say discount is no longer applicable and you'll have to pay RM 199 onwards.
Will this happen? |

Bad experience last week on this new promotion. I was trying to subscribe unifi for my parents back in hometown, Perak. I checked online have unifi, so quickly register online for the unifi lite package. next day receive email from TM with the PIC who will be calling me. Ok, received call Sarah-TAD and suppose to do IC verification but she said runner wont out. Suggest me to walk-in to Telekom Authorised Dealer (TAD). Went to eCurve and guess what. No unifi coverage at my hometown. Then I ask for streamyx which has promotion of $68/month. ECurve TAD say promotion ended and ask me go to TM HQ if insist want this promotion price. Alamak. Buat susah orang je .. ECurve also say Unifi promotion only until 10-Nov?? But TM website say 31-Dec pulak?? Kenapa dengan info yang tak sama ni??
I ended up in Curve Tesco, got one TM Reseller booth. Managed to signed up for Streamyx 1 mbps @ RM68/month. All done in 10 minutes. Tak boleh pakai all these TAD. |

Just got my 30mbps rm139 last Friday!
Applied for new registration on Tuesday on whatsapp (with an agent here) and TM installer came to set up on Friday morning! Very satisfied with the speed of service and the actual speed itself! TM is so freaking efficient, he got everything setup and running in 30min!!! I go to local TMpoint last Monday asking if i can get some discount since i am paying RM140 for 4mbps, the cs tell me this bonanza campaign is end already.
Is this mean that cs is lying to me? So rude and ask me feel free to complaint to MCMC. Just wow. |

30mbps RM 139.00 + 6% = RM147.35nett monthly (Contract 24 Months) is for new subs.
Not for current existing customer. I've tried but TM system won't allow it (From 10mbps lite to new 30mbps). This is TMpoint Managerial level. If someone out there can do it, please let me know how. |

They have stopped allowing direct package upgrades.
If you want to apply, you have to terminate current package and reapply the Bonanza package. |

I said after terminate I will be the new registration, so what is the problem? They said for new fresh registration. I said ok, if you refused to register me for that package then I'll be the new registration for maxis lah!! Then the give me a form to fill up for changebplan but depend on management aproval. Anyone facing the same story before? Do they really change it or just to drag you from terminate at that time?

guys, I was confused with the unifi lite plan offer I just subscribed...
It said included hyppTV everywhere in their package RM129/month... but my billing now shows I must pay RM170 (not including 2 one time stamp duty charges, don't even know why there were 2 of them :/)... 130 for internet and 40 for hyppTV... Did I understand the package wrongly? Someone who knew the unifi package well please enlighten me... |

I'm using 50mb with RM179/month, which upgraded from 30mb. I just called in to TM and asked them if i can remove the hypptv charge (RM30/month)which already included in the RM179, and they said cant, as the hypptv already included in the package. There is no such thing as standalone internet on UNIFI, all MUST come in a package with hypptv. So actually when i looked at the bill, the internet fee is RM149 and RM30 is the hypptv. I asked if i can cancel the hypptv as i'm not using it, and to remove the additional RM30, and they said cant, as it already included in a package. So i'm paying RM30 monthly for the service that im not using for years.

I was initially on the 30mbps plan for rm179 before it was upgraded for free to 50mbps in March. End of November, I was informed of a new upgrade plan called Unifi Pro 100mbps that would cost an additional RM10 per month. Called 100 to enquire and was given the following details
-Upgrade to 100 mbps download/ 50mbps upload -Aneka pack maintained, Jumbo pack added -Iflix till 31/12/17, Viu maintained -600 mins free monthly calls. After that 10 cents to non-tm lines/ hp although tm to tm is free -24 month contract -Termination of HyppTV not allowed -If current equipment not suitable, a replacement would be provided (1yr warranty for equipment). It'll then take 24-72 hrs to reconnect. -Upgrade would take place within 7 days (you'll be informed via sms once upgrading is successful) -RM189 monthly (excluding 6% gst) Note that if you've been paying Rm199 (for a similar package to mine), it'll now cost you RM209 (excluding 6% gst) monthly if you decide to take up the new plan |

Just upgrade from Streamyx to Unifi. I was told that there is promotion for 30mbps only, RM139/month under Bonanza Campaign. Not knowing that there is promotion too for Unifi Pro. Called to upgrade but was told that Bonanza Campaign only entitled once, hence no discount. Wasted.

Ha, spoke to TM (live chat) this morning. The tm point at Bandar sri permaisuri is a TAD so that's why they cannot do the termination. Only TM point.
The bonanza promotion is valid until 31/03/2018 and to cancel need to bring 1. owner, 2. IC copy, 3. modem and all outstanding payment must be cleared and if still under contract, a rm500 early termination fee. |

then last week, i upgraded to unifi pro 50mbps. just topup additional rm10 only. total = rm189/mth. got 600min monthly free call to mobile numbers. but unifi tv/hypp tv quality is shit la. got some intermittent lag sometimes. what a bummer! |

how do you change from maxis fiber to unifi?
Can unifi still install if the port is out (assume I dont terminate my maxis fiber yet) |

Called in to get the package and their sales team keep saying its only for new users.
Of course, I don't want terminate my account becos my line has been using for more than 3 years, every services and relative contacts and so forth will call in this number.... Who else tried MCMC lodge in report and kena upgraded without any issue? |

I am a Unifi customer since 2010 Now I shifter to a new landed house and they told me the port was full, this new house last time rent to a person and he subscribed to Unifi but I think he cancel it after move out. Now try to apply for new line but they told me the port was full  So the dealer help me to check my neighbour and he say my neighbour port can used, so he say will email to TM internal ppl to change the infra but until now also no news from them The dealer told me in worst case I can only subscribe to Streamyx 8mb @ RM140/mth But I just done all my renovation and I had install the optic cable, and if now install streamyx I need to install another cable line SIGH~~~ |
