I was on Streamyx 4.0M more than 3 years ago.
TM upgrade me to 8.0M (Stx Blockbuster combo 8.0M) in Feb 2017.
Now when I log into my Streamyx account, it say that
Service Start Date: 17 Feb 2017
Warranty: 12 months.

Does this mean that TM has extended my contract by 12 months after the upgrade even though my Streamyx 4.0M contract has ended?

Is my contract now expire only in 17 Feb 2018?

Go to tm point cyber few days ago to terminate 179 and subscribe new 139 package, they said offer just for new registration. I said after terminate I will be the new registration, so what is the problem? They said for new fresh registration. I said ok, if you refused to register me for that package then I'll be the new registration for maxis lah!! Then the give me a form to fill up for changebplan but depend on management aproval. Anyone facing the same story before? Do they really change it or just to drag you from terminate at that time?

and here i am paying 149 for 100mbps lull

Btw, after the 2 years contract, can I downgrade from 30 Mbps to 10Mbps? Any additional penalties?

Contract Terms
The minimum subscription period (or contract period) for UniFi is 24 months from the date the service is activated or installed. If the service is terminated before the 24 month period is over, business customers have to pay a termination penalty of RM 500 which will be reflected in the final account bill.

Upgrade & Downgrade
Customer is only allowed to upgrade or downgrade the UniFi Service package after the expiry of two (2) working days from the installation date.

Customers can upgrade or downgrade their UniFi service by visiting TMpoint, through any TM authorized sales channel (AE only) or by calling TM UniFi Center (1-300-88-1222). If a customer requests for a downgrade within the 24 month contract period, a downgrade fee of RM 200 will be charged. The existing CPE will be used unless a change is required due to the nature of the downgrade requested. For any upgrade or downgrade request that requires a visit by TM to a customer’s premises, an additional fee of RM 200 will be imposed.
