Strange. I'm using it and don't see any ads when pausing. Come to think of it, I don't see any ads anywhere.

Maybe it's the settings. The only permission I've allowed is storage. All other permissions (location, etc) are blocked.

Or maybe it's device dependent. I'm using the Himedia Q30. Not sure about Minix.



P/S It could also be the player. I'm using the built-in Exo Player. It says discontinued but it's working fine for me.

I'm just testing on my phone before doing it on my box. Will try later. Currently using 1.9.2 ad free in my box, didn't recall seeing ads when pausing.
I also enabled storage only, not a big problem for me honestly. I hardly use my phone to watch.

You can get the optimized version on mobilism. Terrarium is just awesome!

Yes, it is. Been using it for some time already. Anyway, tested and 1.9.4 works without ad in my box.

5G wifi connection on TV box will be limited speed? My 100m unifi on TV box the download speed n upload speed around 15m only. =(

Are u using free mx player? I remember it has ads when you pause it. That's not part of terrarium

Nope. I'm getting full speed of my Digi Infinite 150, can go as high as 130Mbps.

Ops maybe due to my economic TV box problem. Everything running smoothly, but stream 4k will be lag. But Seldom use, only use on weekends. Weekday use astro.

Not into online video..use for watching downloaded movies..have been use this box for 7 months..

Few days the box suddenly stuck while watching videos..restart it and only red lights come from the panel..after few days manage to turned on..and stuck again..

Already do the reset thingy..the button inside the AV..and factory reset..then same problem again..cannot watch 3@4 movies at the same time..

Wonder it is over heat?..but the box not that warm..

Thanks for the clarification, just gotten Nvidia Shield TV(thanks @jdgobio for the sharing of this model) with latest firmware and tested AOTG 8.193. It works for the 1st run, once exit and reopen it will crash and close. If anyone has any clue to this please let me know.

The Nvidia is fast and smooth running on 2160p videos from my PC stream through LAN. Still yet to get the Kodi pass through DTS-HD and DD HD, VLC works so I may need to look for wrapper for Kodi on Nvidia Shield. Overall very happy with my decision to get this than Q10 Pro I short listed as it feels so much premium on the quality and I am sure the video and audio output as well.

I managed to install China TV app used in my Xiaomi TV box, missing the button found in xiaomi remote to switch to 4K streaming.

Strange. That was a normal pricing after discount which some sellers offer from time to time, I got mine at RM 255 with RM 30 voucher.
My seller wasn't Dobest though, it was from Beffen.
