I am planning to get an Android box but not sure need to upgrade my Unifi speed.
My current plan is Unifi Lite 10Mbps, i guess stream FHD file should not be a problem, right?

I just received my Minix Neo U1 from Beffen rclxms.gif
Power on and everything looks fine.
Later will try download the HyppTv and AOTG to see if it works.

I haven't update the firmware yet... still thinking whether to do factory reset first hmm.gif
I have tried both the HyppTV and AOTG from Google Play, HyppTV is working fine but for AOTG, i am not able to play the channel. It always prompt me to setup the remote control and link to Astro decoder, no idea how to skip it cry.gif

I download the app from Google Play store. In fact the app now is "My Astro", i can't find "Astro on the Go". I think they just update it hmm.gif
Anyway, i will do a factory reset. If it still does not work, i will download from APK Pure.
Another problem: it seems HyppTV does not support with Ethernet connection? After i change the Wifi to Ethernet , i am unable to play the content. I also tried the "Faked wifi status" in Setting, it still does not work.

Are you using Ethernet LAN? Unifi tv only support Wifi connection.

mine is not working, unifi tv still able to detect it is lan, force me to stick back on wifi only hmm.gif

Dunno.. Booted up for the first time and been like this. I tried checking for a newer firmware via OTA but it fails after trying to check..reporting "Check Failed!Check Your OTA Server Agent"..  hmm.gif

Edit: Currently running firmware version M8S PRO L-userdebug 7.1.2 NHG47L-20180316.143701.V0213 and it seems stable.. Been using non-stop for couple hours now.. No force quits or sluggishness..etc.. What firmware version running on yours? Can check OTA successfully?

For the unifi tv error, i guess you are using lan cable? Try use wifi instead to see if it works.

After getting a few feedbacks, can i say mecool cannot play aotg and unifi tv nicely, right? Initially plan to buy this cheaper box to just play the 2 apps but looks like i need hold back first

Are you using LAN cable or WIFI?
Unifi TV only support WIFI
