It’s unsecured. You sure? For high yield unsecured, I’d go for a diversified fund or etf. Secured or first lien then ok.

Also my first time trying out Bond Express so I dabbled with a relatively small amount of AUD$1k for ANZ Bank.
https://www.fsmone.com.my/bonds/bond-factsh...de=AU3CB0305928

Learnings: There is a processing fee of minimum AUD35 which I didn't see upfront before paying.

After a month (I know it's short), I have a loss of 2.54%.

I'm not sure whether I should continue investing in bonds. Any thoughts/sharing of experience appreciated.

Just based on the available info posted, ..

Started with AUD $1000,
upfront processing fees AUD$35
That is 3.5% (loss)

Inj ust 1 month the losses is reduced to 2.54%
Recovered 1%?

Wow that could means 1 month 1%, 1 Yr can be 10-12%??
Ha ha good he he

Hi, I’m planning to re-enter FSM unit trust investment. I left FSM right before the COVID-19. I used to buy all these UT in post no. 2. Are all this UTs still popular and hot to buy now?

At the point of time, should I enter? Or wait at CMF2? 🙏

Uts listed in post 2, are 7 yrs old.
Many things had changed since then.

If you trusted FSM, try their current <1 Yr old "recommended fund lists.

does FSM malaysia support London ETFs? seems like the answer is hidden unless you register & login to check.

also, you need to pay malaysian stamp duty right? so the minimal charges @ RM1,000 investment is still RM1 processing fee + stamp duty RM1

No. For stocks/ETF., you can only invest in Bursa, SGX, SSE, SZE, HKEX, NYSE, NASDAQ and BATS. Although FSM has their strengths(offering various mutual funds/bonds/multi-currency accounts with interests), it is not my first choice for stock trading due to its high fees.

Anyone still hold AHAM World Series - Global Disruptive Innovation Fund - MYR?
I am in dilemma whether to switch or continue hold
Currently still at -65%
If want to switch. is KAF Core Income, a good fund to go with?

I think many believes you will have a better and faster chances of recovering that losses by switching and investing in US focused funds instead of holding that ARK fund or change to KAF core income fund

Try use the Fund Selector to filter out?
But becareful, since you already had those 2 funds, ...it will make your portfolio biased on 1 side if you keep looking for more US focused funds

-65% might as well you start to cut lost and switch into performing fund. With that kind of lost nobody knows how long it will take for you to see the fund turn green.

If you don't know what you bought you also won't know what you are selling. Investing is not like this.....you should tell us your thesis instead. Otherwise another -65% later and your principal is only left 30% from the start. You will be doing donation instead of investing.

For us fund, just pick TA global tech fund. Others don't bother.

KAF core only good for EPF as all holdings are Malaysia unless you don't mind holding Malaysia stuff.

What's your strategy for EPF though? KAF Core?
Doesn't seem to have any US fund available for EPF route...

Kaf core until principal global titan is open back for business or maybe stick with core. If you see fsm chart centre, core have outperform global titans for years.
