how should i decide on these China UT?
I looked into factsheet but still cant decide which to invest. from stats amchina is the winner and there is new UT like United Great Dragon

Any points?. Goal is for medium-long term investment -3-5 years. this is extra fund and to diversify my portfolio as majority in local

AmChina A-Shares - MYR
Eastspring Investments Dinasti Equity Fund
Principal Greater China Equity Fund - MYR
like United Great Dragon Fund - USD

btw the current fsmone event with 0% sales charge not applicable for these china UT as i see already 0% sales charge to begin with.

can share what fund are you aiming ? I think sales charge is just one time off so would not really matter if your going for long term. So 0% sales charge from event is just to entice

If u're considering china tracker , wouldn't this fund be better ? Very low claimed expense ratio and steady high annual returns . The sharpe ratio that's over 1.0 is pretty good as well .

an option for me. but need min 5k. Let me monitor & study more on sharpe & compare

Came across these 2 tech fund without the usual suspects (amazon, facebook, apple, tencent)

1) Affin Hwang World Series - Global Disruptive Innovation Fund
2) NIKKO AM ARK DISRUPTIVE INNOVATION

Will these will a good one for 2021, 1 year duration? Plan is to dip my toes into something with more risk smile.gif

Can i add on question.
Wha's the different if I buy directly from US broker account like interactivebrokers ? no sales charge & annual fees ?

i used managed portfolio (conventional aggressive) with FSM since Jan 2020, enduring the huge dip period in March 2020 and DCA regularly... as i observed they switch fund most of the time at the right timing (eg: they switch to US tech fund on April 2020) ...

until now my portfolio is +30%, which is better than my own diy investment portfolio %...

Unless you confidant you can perform better than FSM specialist team... else 0.2% per annum management fee is worth and hassle free. Don't forget in managed portfolio, they inter-switching for you, the fee is free. And if you managed your own diy fund, it is 1.5% for inter switching (Intra is free, but Inter is not free).
*
good profit. question
how did you get 0.2%? per annum

https://www.fsmone.com.my/managed-portfolio...et-started/fees

i check the fee.. my understanding should be 0.75%(moderate aggressive) + 0.5 = 1.25%

Some time ago there was a promo: if you do RSP, the subscription fee is waived for life until you cancel the RSP.
I took up the promo. Good thing is you can edit the monthly amount anytime .
*
oh i see. maybe got similar promo coming up next month

QUOTE(memorylane @ Aug 24 2021, 09:33 AM)
sorry my mistake , it is 0.5% per annum for the management fee... not 0.2%...

sales charge is not mentioned here, because if you diy purchase fund, sales charge is 1.5%, even more expensive.

the extra charges is only the management fee compare to diy fund.
*
Subscription Fee is one time payment like sales charge for every order?
0.00% for Conservative portfolio
0.25% for Moderately Conservative portfolio
0.50% for Balanced portfolio
0.75% for Moderately Aggressive portfolio
1.00% for Aggressive portfolio

Hi all, looks like china equities dipped again today sad.gif.....do you think I should top up either china or greater china funds like eastspring dinasti & principal greater china.....or is it a falling knife??
*
have a strategy, if drop by X% then you only you top up.. or more simple, ignore the noise and continue DCA as your usual routine.

Hi friends,

Can anyone please share their opinions on FSMONE managed portfolio's return per annum as per advertised by FSMONE.

They are advertising their managed portfolio's return between 9% to 13%, where we can double our initial investment within 7 to 8 years.

Have anyone experience the profits that they claim.
How's their performance past years except for 2020.
Is it satisfied with their performance.

I'm looking into invest a little in managed portfolio as passive income.

How come expense ratio(0.2%) is lower than annual management fees(1.8%) for AmChina A-Shares ?

0.2% is expense ratio charged by the underlying fund while 1.8% is charged by AmInvest as management fee

I am confused now. i thought expense ration INCLUDING management fees + lain lain?
So now total fees is 2% or 0.2 ? confused.gif

Is there any "better" fund then Principal Asia Titans Fund ?

Criteria is Approved by EPF, Equity, Asia, Investing horizon -a decade+
So far this seem the best but put off by higher charges. I guess you pay higher for better performance.

Any other or similar UT?

Cant find anything better than that for same class fund. I just switched from Affin hwand asia dividend to principal asia titan fund. For smallcap, I bought KAF vision.
*
Yep Affin hwand asia dividend was the 2nd choice.
Only downside i see is principle asia titan much lower size fund and higher fees which offset by better profits.

So any point to consider for fund size ? its almost 100mil. should be "big" enough?

Hi guys...what u think of this PRS fund - Manulife PRS Asia-Pacific REIT Fund ? 60% on Singapore reits...

since cannot withdraw until 55 years old..thinking if this is a good choice compared to say PRS growth fund?

thank you in adv
*
hard to compare cause this fund is pretty new.
if u believe in SG REITS and have properly asset allocation and for the long term. Should be fine

but for me i prefer track record so i go with those longer inception date and have more equity
