As long as it's Intel laugh.gif
TBH those not so IT savvy just see the brand without realizing Celeron and i7/i9 performance gap is very huge.

My line lead complained to One of the manager, our tablet battery only last 2 hours, he said: why? it's an i7 !! sweat.gif

most of them are clueless, while the Dell tablet they purchased are really fast, 802.11ax, i7 85xx something, i used it to run image analyzing software Fiji, it was amazing but you have to get it charged at all time lol.

The bettery life is the worst, with Win10 enterprise = double whammy.
most of the time the operators there only use it for access web interface for Camstar, cheap ipad or android table are more suitable for it.

Could it be your chip already use low voltage at stock, and perform the same as others who are doing -25?

Told u. Airflow issue. Putting high end GPU increases all the temps.

yah. moreover my case wasn't good at airflow and too small for nice cpu cooler

btw since im on agesa 1.0.0.3 is it necessary to update to a newer bios?

If you have no issue, don't need. Update BIOS before you use new CPU or newer RAM though.

Hitman 3 eat up cores like a pig that hasn't been fed for a week. Amazing multi threaded usage.

They use celeron on instrument, most probably cant simply change the single board computer, it would require new design new approval from upper management and blah blah.
One cost 50K USD for analyze protien, another cost 250K USD just to analyze DNA...

Celeron seems adequate for the propose, just running the testing software suite is unbearably slow.

It does tho.

Look at that workload spread out to all the threads. Hitman 2 wasn't anywhere near this and that game used CPU threads fairly well for its time.

so u didnt run it or buy the game..

here dartmoor .. like full on physics gunshots/explosions/breaking stuff etc... because of all the physics on a 8core/16 with framerate limit at 144..

thats like the worst scenario gunfight.. which is totally against being a "hitman" "stealth"

its not heavy on da cpu...

core 0/1 is the favoured cored btw.

on 10 core/20 the spread became uneven.. will post that later...
afaik i can tell this game is optimized for 8core. with console in mind.

No I haven't bought it yet, doing so tonight.

I'm not saying it's heavy on the CPU, I'm saying that it spreads out workload very nicely on all cores.

Your screenshot shows about 36% as the average for all the other cores after core 0 and 2 though? That's not bad considering in Hitman 2 they were barely managing 20% with DX12. That was one of the letdowns of that game when Hitman 1 GOTY was doing much higher than that.

this on darthmoor benchmark where cpu physics was alot.
dubai benchmark more realistic to actual gameplay

its spread evenly but hardly like darthmoor usage.

also this game is optimized with intel. so could be some bias.

AGESA 1.2.0.0 doesn't seem to make any difference to my Infinity Fabric OC, still limited to 1866Mhz. sad.gif
Speaking of which, which batch is your 5900x?
My 5950x batch is 2046 = year 2020 week 46.

I finally decided to buy ryzen. Migrating from my i7 4770k.

Ryzen 3600
Gigabyte aorus b550m pro
32 gb 3600 ram Kingston
1tb ssd crucial nvme
Corsair 650w modular Psu
Rm 2.8k total
Recycle case
Recycle gtx770
Recycle peripherals and 3 monitors.
Use 4k video editing for teaching

Things I learnt today
Finding 5xxx series ryzen is impossible
Just because you added in cart does not mean you get it. While adding all components, two items are were sold out before I managed to pay. N
Gigabyte b550m and corsair Psu. Ended up spending 2 hours searching and buying again.

3600?
K, remember to install the chipset driver and select the appropriate power plan.
Next, update the mainboard bios?
Crucial nvme.....hmmm, enable Momentum Cache after install Storage Executive?

Go to your BIOS and enable PBO, advanced = select Mainboard something to unlock the power limit.
