Don't worry, they will drink by their own when it is the right time. My RCs start to taste water when they are 2.5 weeks.... 3 weeks can see them drink more....

i put some mealworms in a clean bowl for the mommy syrian these few days. She doesn't seem to be eating other food except mealworms whole day long. Is that fine?? I didn't see her eating her hamster mix at all. She's been eating mealworms for these few days for all meals wor ..

wahhh.. limit her intake of mealies.. too much also bad. fattening.. but perhaps lactating moms require more protein lor.. that's why she gila eat worms.

Aiyoh, then stop the mealworms. She should be consuming the normal mix.... mealworms won't give enough nutrition. Mealworms is addictive so she will go on eating if you give her more. For now, let her try and eat the other types of food.

Okok. I thot I shud give her lotsa mealies for protein to regain back . I'll stop giving her these few days ... hehe. She seems like she's addicted to mealies.

hi.. i hv another question.. my syrian doesn't seem to be eating sunflower seeds and hamster mix food that i've been giving my dwarf . i thought i could gave her same food with dwarf.. other than mealworm, what does syrian likes ?

Their standard diet should consist of dried seeds which can be found in hamster mix. Perhaps they're not used to the food. Try another brand and see what happens.
