i think if we can manage to replace the metal wire with clear arcylic..it would be nice!

arcylic are expensive and poor ventilation . that's why i use wire mesh.

i have question.. just bought syrian this evening and eversince got it back from shop, she's been running on wheel till now nonstop. only stop a while to eat n run in cage. is this normal? afraid that she will die out of running more than 8 hours now..

i think that's normal .. my hammies run on the running wheel from 1am till 7 or sumthing . they just enjoying their running wheel . dun't worry .
if she don't eat, drink water, then better becarefull .. |

You set up is neat, save space and yet nice looking!!! Later if got chance move to a new house, I've try to make one myself......haha......... I think only the cabinet rack cost around RM50-60 rite? if u add those wire mesh, wheels, bottles...... I think the whole "apartment" cost around RM100+, woah.....burn pocket... It is normal. Some hamsters are particularly active, they will use most of their energy on the wheel since in a cage they cannot do anything else but running. So no worries. If you think the running is too long, you can always take out the wheel after 4 hours of running..... but then just leave it in lah since hamsters will know what is good for them. |

i agree... coz last time i bought 2, but then i change back to bottles coz more practicle and cleaner (if use open container bedding will go in easily)...
