I've been noticing lately that my iPhone 5 seems to not switch back umobile 3g and seems to stuck on umobile (maxis) 2g (I've manually switch it back to 3g as 2g seem slow)I have data roaming on

Not sure if Music-Onz data will cover apps ads video... example like spotify sometimes will have video ads appear. Not sure if they put that into normal data quota or music-onz. I'm seeing higher data usage on my normal data quota.

I tested u mobile for Dota 2 without game onz plan cause it will replaced my current data. Ping around 60ms+ and very stable. My yes broadband now becoming worst, normal ping is 60ms+ also but playing Dota 2 is around 170-250ms, last month was 100ms+.

My line is showing 4G, but I realise thst even with WhatsApp calling, the line is always cutting and Internet browsing seems very slow. I just ported a few days ago, is this how it is with UMobile? I do t recall 4G being this slow. |

good to lock customers with postpaid, monthly recurring income and sometime more with vas/voice/sms/etc usages. problem: revenue is delayed. billed invoice is not considered revenue until customer pays them. then only the payment is captured as revenue. a lot of ppl not paying bills is not good for telco's cashflow. prepaid has higher sub base. still 80:20 ratio or already lesser 75:25? still, more sub base means more faster revenue. why faster revenue? sub top-up already considered revenue. fast and easy money. however, this soon to be changed with new MFRS15 whereby unusued credit should not be considered revenue, even for postpaid topup. that's why even GST may take this approach by going with usage-based GST (you use how much, GST is applied to that usage, and revenue is recognized from that usage). buying more top-up will not be considered direct revenue. good for telco because they dont need to keep chasing you to pay bills! LOL~ you dont top-up, your number/prepaid expired. so, prepaid subs keep topping up just to keep the line alive. very tedious to maintain, better go for postpaid, some might say. |

I'm a umobile prepaid user. I mainly use my phone to receive calls and hardly make any outgoing calls. However I use the free high speed internet which comes with it.
Now I'm accumulating so much of credit and I am forced to top up monthly rm30 just to keep the line active and enjoy the high speed internet. I wish umobile has a super long life whereby we can extend the validly to a year, unfortunately there is no such privilege. Hence I'm seriously thinking of porting to BuzzMe soon. |

If I use my Umobile Postpaid P98 sim card in a mifi, and i stream Youtube in my laptop from the mifi connection, does the youtube stream consume my data or under unlimited Video-Onz portion? Anyone know the answer? Thank you. |

Hi, anyone having problems registering their new UCard on the UMobile app? I just converted to prepaid from postpaid and my existing UCard is no longer linked to my account in the app. I contacted UMobile's customer service online and was told to create a new UCard and email BInfinite to transfer my existing points to the new card. Unfortunately, I am not able to create a new virtual UCard from the app. I tried replying to the email from UMobile's customer service but for some reason, I don't think it is getting through for some reason. Any ideas how to solve this? Thanks.

Can anyone testify if UMobile has 4G network in batu pahat? I used to use it a few years back and its 3G network was good, was able to get ~15-20mbps with latency less than 35ms near Kampung Merdeka & Taman Maju, but not too sure about its performance now.

Package came with rm5 and 10days validity. Data use almost finish while still have 5days validity , then i top up rm30.. i suppose it should have 35 days validity but how come only 30 days validity? Not accumulate one? I understand after 30 days validity, will have another 60 days passive mode. Do i still able to use data during this 60 days? Still can receive sms and call? |

I asked the promoter at Umobile kiosk, he said I can just subscribe to UMI and my i60 will be automatically unsubscribed, but that's not the case. When I try to subscribe to UMI, the system (*188#) said "You are unable to subscribe to this plan. Please proceed to buy the booster blablabla". Help and thanks in advance! |

will u28 come out contract plan like p50 ? or i don mind of they do offer new p38 plan with phone contract, for me , i definitely will take 1 umobile line as spare line. since already long time with u28, kind of waste if not tie to any contract to enjoy extra benefit.
