Validity will not stack. You may use subscribed data during passive mode but not free data. You can receive calls and sms.

For prepaid, convert to the older plan with 2x validity. Then top up RM100 for 200 days of validity. That is about 8 months.

Xiaomi have their own messaging service, a clone of iMessage. You need to decline activation.

According to UM website, UMI 30 and 50 only got 3x data till 30 April 2017.

New U prepaid with 2x validity no longer available at the moment.

Only existing users can keep it.

Actually, call rate nothing to do with UMI, it is just UM marketing people muddle up UMI with other things including free U-to-U calls.

In the UMI pages, they quote the call rate from the latest Unlimited Power plan. Call rate outside of any bundled UMI minutes will follow your prepaid plan, that is 20/14/24 sen/min for New/Power/Unlimited Power. Same goes for SMS rate, 3 or 8/8/12 sen.

and I edited my earlier answer because only now I see you are on the old plan called New U Prepaid

as I recall, that plan does have reduced call rate of 10 sen/min after any bundled UMI minutes is used up

Normal call rate = 20 sen/min

UMI call rate = 10 sen/min (once any UMI minutes are exhausted)

Yes, I'm sure. For New U Prepaid plan. You cannot find this info on website these days. The UMI pages always assume you are on latest prepaid plan, hence the rates they quote there.
