QUOTE(kit2 @ Feb 17 2017, 10:22 AM) very detailed illustration! has been doing the topping up, but never considered the credit share part. numbers reactivated by credit share can use the free 1gb now? i tried when credit share was launched but it didn't work. QUOTE(prosibu @ Feb 17 2017, 10:32 AM) Since there are 6 number vice versa to get free 1gb data internet, meaning that you need 3 smartphone device (with dual simcard) so that you can play like this trick..QUOTE(JJKTP @ Feb 17 2017, 10:44 AM) In general, it was quite a disappointing response from U Mobile. The new prepaid package is the worst. QUOTE(stephantsen @ Feb 17 2017, 10:48 AM) they wn people to port out purposely? hope their 3x data will extend... if not there is no reason to stay with umobile anymore. Seriously, this new U Mobile is getting less and less attractive compare with previous old U Mobile plan. The 3X data will extend only for UMI30 and UMI50, not applicable for others already. Luckily, I still retain for the old U Mobile plan, coz top up RM10 at least 2x account validity. Else, I already move to other telco already.. Kinda suck nowadays Malaysia telco (marketing development plan) copy cat here, copy cat there... And become one ALL NEW Plan. It's useless and not need use brain at all to develop something special for it. |

QUOTE(dgboy @ Feb 21 2017, 02:38 PM) New U Prepaid I see from their U mobile official website regarding UMI plan:-Normal call rate = 20 sen/min UMI call rate = 10 sen/min (once any UMI minutes are exhausted) Nothing has changed here Are you sure UMI call rate = 10 sen/min after UMI minutes are exhausted? As I check from above UMI call rate = 12sen/30 sec Meaning that 24sen/minit |

QUOTE(dgboy @ Feb 21 2017, 03:34 PM) Yes, I'm sure. For New U Prepaid plan. You cannot find this info on website these days. The UMI pages always assume you are on latest prepaid plan, hence the rates they quote there. QUOTE(stephantsen @ Feb 21 2017, 04:10 PM) QUOTE(dgboy @ Feb 21 2017, 05:53 PM) Ok, thanks for your useful information.Useless U Mobile keep confuse the rate plan~ Should implement the new "word", rather use back existing UMI and keep revised.. |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Feb 23 2017, 10:30 AM) Wow.. I never get that before. But getting Edge is common especially indoors. Thats why I hope UMobile improves its network reception immediately. Rather than giving out largest quota of data you cant use because there is not network. Sorry, not only at indoors, sometimes outdoor also like that Edge... But travel certain area (still outdoor), suddenly from HSPA (U Mobile) > no Signal > EDGE (MY Maxis).Eventually, I got see U Mobile has improved a lot.. But trust me, this network receptions need take few years to improves. There are a lot of procedure to install network tower (need approval from MCMC), registration procedure, set-up procedure.... And total up after 3 or 4 years, the network reception slightly improve already. |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Feb 23 2017, 11:40 AM) I feels your pain... I eventually wanna to port out other telco already.Yeah, give so much data, but the network so so only UM needs to improve their network first... Then only everyone happy... But I guess it's won't be so soon... So in the end, we needs to be patience first But currently use New U Prepaid plan and become legacy plan. If port out to other telco, I think I won't be jump again U Mobile in the future time. The new call rate plan is ridiculous expensive.. |

QUOTE(OzzyOzz @ Feb 23 2017, 12:30 PM) You should lock the network to 3g only for stable connection because Umobile always got problem in between transition let say from 4g to 3g or 2,there'll be H+ sign but no data transmission. if your phone doesn't support this funtion, then i suggest u shuld find one, mostly samsung phone can lock 3g only. Normally I set auto for the network for user-friendly plus people can easily get contact to me.Coz if I lock the network, some area are not coverage of 4G or more worst no 3G, plus it is very worst that you can't even receive incoming call or outgoing call (the most important thing) once you lock the network. My device can only lock for 3G. But unfortunately, it is really worst that indoor only 3G 1 bar between EDGE 3 bar. So do you means I just lock for EDGE network only? |
